Just had a meal for 4 people, and totally disgusting, over priced, under cooked.
Not a good experience, totally gone down hill since my last meal here.
Go somewhere else for mother's day. If you don't want to be disappointed.

Food was nice but only 4 finger sandwiches per person?.. told we couldn?t have anymore.
Service was not great booked in for afternoon tea at 12 and waited over 30mins and chased 3 times for food.
Quite disappointed over all especially as they took a £10 deposit to ensure we kept the booking.
Food and drinks: Afternoon tea was nice but disappointed with the speed and detail of service and the fact that the sandwiches are no longer refillable particularly after checking this detail was asked at time of booking

Lovely bar food.
Good location with parking.
For some reason there are no staff working.
We were given the bar menu, 10 minutes later this was taken away as it was the Sunday menu, the week day menu then came out.
15 minutes later our order was taken and 15 minutes later our drinks arrived after having to chase them.
The staff were working as hard as they could however there were only two people serving a full pub restaurant and running the drinks bar.
Poor management leading to diabolically slow almost non existent service.
I think this may be a one off l but unfortunately this was our experience.
Sack the bar manager because they are not doing their job.

School reunion get together.
Food and drinks: Better menu than in the previous 3 years we've come here
Noteworthy details: Utilising a separate glass walled room as opposed to sitting in the general lounge area made it better and more special.

Had my Mum's funeral tea here. Room was lovely. Service not good. Mix up in communication by staff. Ordered sandwiches scones and sausage rolls. They forgot the sandwiches and bought them out (obviously thrown together very quickly) after I queried where they were. However by this time people were ready to leave. No one serving tea and coffee just cups set out on a table. Was given a refund for the sandwiches and apologised to and they admitted the mix up. However a sad occasion and an important one was ruined.

We were in room 108 and kept awake till gone 11pm with a loud banging every 15 to 20 minutes. After going down to reception at 11 to try to resolve this problem

Stayed here for New Year and it's a lovely place to stay. Lovely and clean, staff so welcoming and couldnt do enough for us, and helpful with everything. Would definatley recommend anyone to book for a stay here. Thankyou to all the staff for making our visit so special.

Still one of my favourite places in boston. Shame not enough staff, the bbq pork belly on steam buns was terrible. Staff still great.

This review is for the restaurant a family meal, daughters birthday treat.
So the food was super, we all enjoyed the meal it was the service that fell short of the mark.
The waitress was rude to my wife and we had to make repeated requests. We were told they were short staffed, now that should not be an excuse to the customers and it should be an issue for the management to deal with.
I did read in another review that the management ignore reviews to which I am surprised.
When we got home and looked at the bill we had automatically paid a service charge of 10% and which had I seen at the time would have asked for that to be removed, looking at the menu with hindsight it is stated there in small writing but it goes to show you should not let your guard down, easily done when your trying to relax and enjoy yourself, lesson learnt there.
So would I recommend, the food yes but the service spoilt it so not we will not be visiting again, there's plenty of choice in Boston.
I have tried to leave a constructive review rather than a ranting slur so I hope that others may find it helpful.

Pooped in here on a whim, and we were not disappointed.
I had the homemade shepherd's pie, seen the photos and, my partner had the fish and chips.
Both meals were really tasty and the shepherd's pie was made using real strips of lamb and not your cheap nasty lamb mince. My partners fish and chips were so large she couldn't finish it all.
Lovely dining area, and staff we met were polite and pleasant.

Rode our bikes from Lincoln to Boston on the Water Rail Way, part of Route 1 on the Sustrans National Cycle Network. Booked in to stay at the White Hart Hotel for the night. Our bikes were securely stored overnight in the boiler room of the hotel. Excellent room with very thick curtains which efficiently blocked out the light. A Roberts radio was by the bed along with power sockets including USB sockets and a welcome note from the housekeeping team (a nice touch).
A good sized shower and fairly fluffy towels were very welcome after the bike ride. The large bed was comfy with good quality bed linen.
Dinner and breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice, the staff friendly and efficient. They all performed their tasks very well and are a credit to the management.
We would definitely stay here again when next in Boston.
