Staying at the Premier Inn and this was nice and close so gave it a try. Steak and ale pie is indeed delicious and would probably have eaten there again if there had been more vegetarian options for the non-meat eaters. Nicely decorated pub. Delicious food. Not expensive and huge portions. It was a Friday night and very busy. W were served drinks right away then we waited around 15-20 minutes after being seated before someone came to take our food order. Understandable and after that everything went very smoothly. Past this place many time and now have called in. The food was amazing and portion generous. Prices are competitive. Staff and brilliant. Restaurant is spacious and wheelchair friendly too.
