TESCO Boston,
Many thanks for hiring stupid staff at your self check out counters??specially in Boston.
I bought two Dark Soya Sauce bottles and one Oyster Sauce Bottle and scanned them with rest of my grocery items.
At self check out counters one representative from Tesco approached me said she would like to scan few of my items to make sure everything is included.
In other words, specially from her body language and arrogant attitude, she was telling me I am a thief and I intentionally missed some of the items so that I may sneak away with some extra groceries without paying.
It was really embarrassing as I was with my kids.
Anyways, I did not let her and my kids feel that I am feeling humiliated because of bad attitude of the TESCO staff.
And you know what; when she was scanning my items, which were already scanned by me, she considered all bottles of sauce as Dark Soya Sauce and scanned one bottle three times??.did not scan Oyster Sauce Bottle which was expensive one at all.
I literally told her that she did not scan Oyster Sauce Bottle.
She replied, without even making an eye contact, I know my job.
So she scanned Dark Soya three times rather than scanning it twice and Oyster sauce once.
And saved me a couple of GBP ?

Good selection of food and items. Some things can be a little pricey esp if you don't have a club card.
Do be aware there is an ongoing issue with a nasty smell when entering the store. Not as bad as it was but still horrible?, this is why I have only given this store a 3*. ?

Really lovely and helpful staff, my grateful thanks to the staff on customer services in Tesco, Boston, especially Wendy, who went above and beyond to help us in our hour of need. Best quality for food I can not find in others. ?It is not always about the price that is less important than the quality!!! ? Shopping here for over 20 years now. Till awaiting time is a no time you don?t need to wait long like in other supermarkets and that?s my best pick apart from food quality. The atmosphere inside is awesome with nice music in the background /finally back on/ Just PLEASE MODIFY THE ENTRANCE AS IS WAY TOO NARROW AND TROLLEY DISTRIBUTION SHOULD BE OTHER WAY. It's a Tesco superstore with the usual Tesco superstore refinement do you think it a bit odd that the cafe closed at 5:30 p.m. but I'm sure they have their reasons don't want people overdosing on tea and coffee into the early hours
