St. Botolph's Church, also known as the Boston Stump, This historic (14th century) church boasts an impressive tower that offers stunning views of the surrounding Lincolnshire countryside. The interior is equally captivating, with beautiful stained glass windows and a serene atmosphere. The church is steeped in history, making it a fascinating place to explore.

Beautiful church set up in Boston. Visited while on holiday. Lovely tourist attraction child and pet friendly. Had a lovely cafe and fairly priced and souvenir shop. Would be lovely with a service on. Had some great activities for children block building and picture rubbing. Also they have a table with free food for people who are struggling. Along with a table of book donations. I managed to get two unread Brandon Sanderson book for 2 pound.

Huge cavernous church - more like a cathedral. Quite austere inside but well laid out and informative. Even a coffee shop inside the tower !
£5 to climb up to the top of the stump (the tower) but well worth it for the views

Great architecture and history behind the church. Definitely do the tower only 108 steps! But great views. Excellent cafe, food and service from the staff.

Stunning building. Go up the tower for 360 views over Boston and out to sea on a clear day. Nice cafe inside with friendly staff and small meals.
The big down side was the church yard which felt quite intimidating as there were lots of people hanging around, shouting ! Appeared some were using substances. One guy smashed a bottle on a grave stone and ran about, another with blood all down his trousers. The other large group appeared to be new immigrants....about 100. Like I said....it felt intimidating. We left that area quickly.
Local authority need to get some control of the area !

14th-century Gothic church, with amazing wow factor when you walk in. Incredibly open, light and inviting.Staff on site were very helpful and enthusiastic. Nice little cafe open as well. The tower of St Botolph's Church is 266 feet 6 inches (81.23 m) high, making it the tallest parish church in England to its roof. My partner went to the top, amazing views, but a lot of steps and not for the faint hearted.A truly beautiful welcoming church.

Little one was really excited to go to the top of the "magical boston stump" unfortunately when we first arrived there was a funeral in progress. So after a little while we returnes and looked at the beautiful architecture and climb the stairs. I would recommend waiting until little ones will not have a temper tantrum and expect to be carried halfway up in retrospect. But we do live and learn ?. Cafe is extremely clean and reasonable. And there is even a parish dog to create smiles x

200+ steps curl up to the first balcony on the iconic Boston Stump tower. Fantastic views across Boston and the fen await you - if you're prepared to wait until the spots before your eyes disappear and you've caught your breath again - it took me 15 minutes to recover!! Bus so worth it! Access to the stairs cost £5 per adult and under 18's go free. Of course you could cheat and look at the views on one of the interactive screens in the church itself. You'll also find building blocks and brass rubbing for the younger children and a huge amount of historical information for the older ones. Well worth a visit and whidlt there we bought some Lego bricks to help towards the completion of a Lego model of the building - you get a certificate too! We enjoyed it, the grandchildren loved it - an all age treat and a true gem of the fens.
