I?m sorry I can?t give any more than 1 star but just not good enough.
I bought a DashCam online and paid for ?the in store experts? to fit it. So after driving 16 miles to the appointment I met the rather nervous looking young lad and took him out to my very standard 2021 Fiat Doblo van. After killing time for an hour whilst he and another young colleague looked at my vehicle, he came back to me and said they were unable to fit the DashCam as they were unable to work out which fuse to pull for the constant live and were afraid they may pull something important like the airbags. They obviously found the servicing book from the glove box as this was left on the passenger seat but still apparently didn?t help them.
I was refunded for the fitting but still leaves me trying to find someone else now having made a 32 mile round trip for nothing.

I needed a few items for myself and my daughter's bike, so I went onto the website and found in super fast fashion the items I wanted to purchase. The items I wanted were both in-stock and a price I could afford. After purchasing I had to wait whilst the team at my local store got my items together, once that was done I was notified by text. On arrival at the store I was greeted by a female member of staff and I have to say I was impressed, very polite, professional, and courteous, as I made my way to the counter she asked me very politely if I needed any assistance. I explained that I came to collect 3 items, without any fuss she headed to the bike department and collected my items, came back with a smile and said my receipt will be through my email. With all this, it's truly put my faith back into visiting Halfords again, the customer service was through the roof, absolutely brilliant, I really couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank You For A Great Shopping Experience.....10/10

Called in for a motorbike battery as mine went down while away from home, the guys at Boston Halfords were very helpful and got me back on the road in 20 mins. Very much appreciated.

Rudest staff I?ve dealt with in a long time after spending over £1000 on bikes and equipment I was made to feel like an inconvenience.
As well as having issues with the bike not being set up right. Not that I?d take it back to them?
Not all the equipment I ordered had been delivered and I was told I?d receive a phone call when it came in but that never happened. I came in over a week later and they didn?t have any idea about it. Told me to grab a similar item off the shelf which then didn?t fit.
Awful experience, go elsewhere if you can.

Easily ordered and paid for online. Good communication and quick response as to item being ready for collection. When arrived at store young chap at door asked if I needed any help, explained and showed email ready for collection notification. He went and found it and carried the heavy object, putting it into my car. Very helpful, polite and pleasant = a good customer service and experience.

Wouldn?t recommend this store. Brought a battery back in April. Had issues with car starting past month took to garage and they diagnosed it as a faulty battery. They put a new one on. Went to take this one back to Halfords to get refund or replacement. Was told they needed to test it. Tested it came back recharge and retest.women turned round and said nothing I can do. I can recharge and retest in morning but will say okay on machine because been charged. Said the garage did exact that and came up with replacement. She said I can?t give you a refund due to being out of the 30 days I can only give you like for like replacement I said I?ll do that then she said I can?t do that till I retest it. Said I wanted a partial refund due to not needing the battery and it failing within 3 months and she said she can only offer replacement. She said I can charge the faulty one and you can sell privately I turned round and said that?s not going to solve the issue just pass it on. All in all don?t buy a battery from here. If you do and have issues this store and the 5 year garantee won?t do anything about it!

Walk up to the car part sales man and show him a deal they are advertising and ask him if he can help me find the item. I'm clearly disabled with mobility aids. He takes me to the other side of the store as unfortunately their roof cross bars are located away from rest of car parts or help desk for it. He drops me off without even showing me where to find it between two lanes.
After not making any sense of what's on display I go to the bike desk instead as the other guy was clearly not interested in helping. This guy does his best but it turns out that the deal which contains 3 parts is not actually on display. I have to locate the SKU codes for him to find them in the back... He eventually after another 20 minutes find 2/3. He then asks if I can wait a week for him to order the last part. I say yes and he takes my details. When he's just about ready he says he needs to take an extra 30 pounds to order the item which is part of their advertised deal. I then say no, thanks but I'll go to another Halfords store and not pay 30 extra on a 150 deal. He starts to argue with me saying that it's not a set... Like that matters if they are advertising it as a set deal. Needless to say I later that evening ordered a much better pair of crossbars for a third of the price via Amazon that is tested and secured for much heavier loads. I went to Halfords because I wanted help with my purchase, never returning to any of yours stores. Thanks

Jo was very attentive and knowledgeable, nothing was too much to ask and very polite. Halfords should be proud to have staff like Jo and hopefully reward them when credit is due.

never met ruder staff. went in to buy a couple of bits for my car which were age restricted and when showing ID the woman then told be you had to be 25 which after speaking to customer service i have later found out this is false as you only need to be 18. we felt very uncomfortable walking round the shop as the staff were laughing and staring at us. the staff don?t seem to have a clue what there doing or seem to have any customer service skills. would not recommend this place to anyone your better off travelling to skegness halfords

Blunt customer service, bordering on plain rude. I know it's nice weather, and that it's a Sunday, but if you don't want to work in a customer facing role, look for another job. Wouldn't use this store again.

Frustrated with this branch.
I wouldn't recommend the mechanics, would rather pay more and go elsewhere.
Waited 2 weeks for a phone call I didn't receive to say my order was in store. Was originally 3-4 days wait.
They replaced my hub, and the hub started moving after a week. They rectified the problem. Was told if it happens again that it may be the wheel itself and may need replacing a whole new wheel.
Went to work yesterday, and my chain has fallen behind the rear cassette. I am now missing a rear spoke guard because l believe they didn't fit back on.
