Food was cold after waiting almost 40 minutes. Then sent it back and waited another 30 mins for something I should have received at the start of my service. Waitresses were lovely and understanding but still not an excuse to serve near cold food as a pub that are used to cooking hot food for the public. Thank you!

We did our research beforehand to find an eatery in Boston. This place was rated pretty highly so as a four we thought let's give it a try.
The staff to be fair were pretty friendly and the place pretty clean and tidy so no complaints there tbh.
However I felt the quality and presentation of the food was pretty bang average at absolute best. No better than could be purchased at a Wetherspoons (an eatery we definitely didn't want to eat at).
I ate mine simply because I was hungry (it was hot tbf) but the other three left portions of theirs. The ribs looked disgusting tbh.
We didn't want to cause a fuss and eventually left.
Absolutely NO WAY would I go back. Tbh it wasn't that cheap either.

Visited here as a table of 8 in August. Couldn?t have been more obliging and food was very good and hot. Due to this family members have visited since and want another gathering.

Lovely place. Big portions and proper home cooked food. Definitely pay them a visit if you're in town. I got the surf and turf and was very happy! Friendly service

Tasty food and great service! Onion rings and chips were really nice and fillet steak was cooked bang on, medium rare as ordered. My partner really enjoyed it.

Great food and good price for what you get. I had the big ribs and they were really good. Wife and daughter had steak and ale pie and said it was very good. Going back on Sunday for dinner
