“I needed a few items for myself and my daughter's bike, so I went onto the website and found in super fast fashion the items I wanted to purchase. The items I wanted were both in-stock and a price I could afford. After purchasing I had to wait whilst the team at my local store got my items together, once that was done I was notified by text. On arrival at the store I was greeted by a female member of staff and I have to say I was impressed, very polite, professional, and courteous, as I made my way to the counter she asked me very politely if I needed any assistance. I explained that I came to collect 3 items, without any fuss she headed to the bike department and collected my items, came back with a smile and said my receipt will be through my email. With all this, it's truly put my faith back into visiting Halfords again, the customer service was through the roof, absolutely brilliant, I really couldn't have asked for anything better. However - Matalan, put your tightfisted hand in your wallet and put fans or air-conditioning in. It wasn't even a hot-hot day when I visited and I was sweating in there. Your poor staff deserve better than working in that!”

“We went in to buy a suit for my partner. The guy in the men's department was fantastic, firstly asking if we needed any help. Not pushy at all. When we found a suit we liked we called him over. He is obviously well trained as he knew sizes to try by sight. Couldn't have been more helpful. Delighted with the suit and the shopping experience.”

I prefer to shop where I like the staff rather than product and price though both those things are great too. Usually does 16 hours and this week doing 35 hours with a little one at home to cover her manger and just so the manger knows, great job she is doing. Thank you for the pleasant service!
