The sudden suspension of mobile banking services due to additional document requirements, necessitating a visit to the branch, has been a rather disappointing experience.Upon my visit, I was disheartened to find that there was no specialist available to assist me, rendering me unable to initiate bank transfers or access the mobile app. Moreover, the scheduled appointment provided was scheduled three weeks into the future, which has left me questioning the utility of establishing a physical branch in the first place if adequate staff availability is not ensured.Furthermore, the limited operating hours of 9 AM to 3 PM on weekdays, when the majority of individuals are occupied with work commitments, is perplexing. In my case, I had to take time off from work, and even then, I could not complete a seemingly straightforward banking task. This prompts the question of why I was allowed to use mobile banking services for two years if my documentation was deemed insufficient.This situation has left me greatly frustrated and disappointed with the level of service provided. It is disheartening to encounter such inefficiencies and inadequacies in a financial institution.

The lady I see was very helpful and sorted all the bits I needed. Will be a shame if all face to face services go and everything goes automated and the personal touch is lost.

I was lucky enough to come through to Paula after phoning through the Barclays app, after having difficulties obtaining a very important daily savers statement for our mortgage application, having phoned up yesterday and told by another agent it would be ready today- Paula was a true professional and not only took full ownership of my problem but as she was working at home even offered to go into branch to gain a transaction printout and have it emailed by her branch, this allowing me to submit my application today and not delaying a further 3 days! I would personally like to thank Paula as this was clearly above and beyond her call of duty and will make such a difference to our application, being such a large purchase this is very important to us. I can truthfully state this is the best service I have received from a bank EVER! Paula is a true asset to your business, many thanks again!

Absolutely ridiculous opening times. I am a nurse and run my own business to working full time. It?s impossible for me to get to the bank. I have weekends off but it?s not open. I get 30 minute lunch break during the week so no chance of me getting in at lunch times. How on earth do I get to pay cash in?????

This bank has been an absolute gem to me! All the staff are friendly, approachable and always willing to help. I see someone has complained about a long wait, did they stop and think that this bank is busy because it is so good? I have nothing but high praise for the staff here.

Terrible refit told woman paid to tell you to use machines, better to be behind the counter serving only one on today que to door this morning what happened to serving customers! loads of machines NOT PEOPLE SERVING as counters removed, Bin with Barclays since leaving school will now be moving for real service by real people
