Popped in for a beer ? as was dropping off my daughter home in the village . Was welcomed with a lovely local chap of many years sat at the bar and the landlord stood behind the bar with a friendly greeting and prompt service. Must say very nice interior and cosy feel ? We came here for Sunday dinner. The Sunday dinner was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! We also decided to get some desserts afterwards and these were also incredible! Thankyou to Vijay and Maeve for the wonderful food, desserts and service! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely walk around the village with our dogs and called for a drink at the Hume Arms , set on quiet road picnic tables at the front. Bar staff were very polite.
