I can?t say enough great things about this incredible restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff was not only attentive and courteous, but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and accommodating all our requests with grace.
Now, the food?absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a burst of authentic flavor, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. You can tell every dish is crafted with passion and care.
But what truly sets this place apart is the chef. The culinary artistry here is on another level. It?s clear the chef is not only highly skilled but also deeply passionate about the cuisine. We even had the pleasure of meeting the chef briefly, and his humble demeanor and love for Indian cooking made the experience even more special.
This restaurant isn?t just a place to eat?it?s a place to enjoy, celebrate, and savor. Whether you?re a lifelong fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this spot is an absolute must-visit. We?ll definitely be back soon!

Lovely restaurant, lovely staff, superb food. Excellent value for money and well worth your time to visit. I've not had naans this good in ages, and the talana was brilliant.

Food very poor quality and tasteless, took an age for food to arrive and items missing from order when rung to ask they just argued we were wrong. Will not be visiting again

Lovely food, lovely staff. Not a busy restaurant but really nice service. I highly recommend the Tandoori king prawns for a starter.

Dined this evening with friends and children. Food was delicious and smelt divine to say the least, and the service was fantastic. Absolutely recommend tasting the delicious food served at The Surma, will definately be returning.
Kid-friendliness: High chair was provided for the youngest child, nothing was too much.
