Large, well furnished rooms. Very helpful staff. There were 2 problems: In Room 4, there is a loud hum from a boiler in the adjoining utility room, 24/7. The water in the shower was either a weak, lukewarm trickle or a forceful gush of dangerously scorching water. I mentioned it to a member of staff who said, the bloke in Room 2 has got no water at all! Unable to wash my hair, I had to pop out to a local hairdresser. This place seems popular, but the above problems need sorting out.

We stayed here one night as we headed southwards and made the most of booking a table in the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal, sharing a delicious starter of mushrooms and then selecting our personal preferences. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities. Despite being above the pub and on the main road, the room wasn't noisy. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to this address.

I would have liked to have left a better review than this, but don?t feel I can. We stayed in room 4 on the night before my daughter?s wedding and we had only a few hours sleep due to a humming noise continually through the night. We complained in the morning and the staff on duty were able to allocated us a different room for the night of the wedding, but the damage was done and myself as mother of the bride was absolutely exhausted, I broke down in tears in fact trying to explain to the staff how I was feeling, They were very apologetic and as said above they arrange a different room for the second night. I have emailed the landlord twice now about this and he has chosen not even to acknowledge my emails. So very very disappointed and would not recommend staying her whatsoever, Having said that, the breakfast was nicely presented on hot plates. If you do decide to stay here avoid room 4. We were advised by the staff we spoke to that we were next to the laundry room and a heating system, or boiler, whatever, was left on all night when it should have been turned off.

I have never been to this pub before and did not know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. It is very nice. We were there for the Lebanese themed night. It was 28 each. We had loads of courses. I am a vegetarian and was catered for with alternatives. We were so full at the end . The staff are very friendly.

Barton Bike Night . . .what is the point of having a great live band on the terrace, when you completely drown them out with excessively loud music in the bar? . . . that's just really rude and disrespectful!

Absolutely fantastic food. My husband had the pork chop which he was racing about for some time after. I decided to have the option of three starters with chips.... all were delicious but there was far too much food for me!!! Eyes greedier than belly!! A few nights later, we went in on spec hoping for a table. The place was buzzing as it was a Friday night, but the lovely young man on the bar managed to find us a table where we indulged in the best fish and chips I've had in YEARS! All washed down with a couple of pints of Black Sheep, and the fish and chips were on 2 for 1!!! Highly recommend this pub. Great staff, fabulous food and an excellent choice of beers.

Great place for a beer. Plenty of seating, great pool able in the bar bit out of the way.Beer is always good and and a good selection and alwaysservice with a smile.Very busy with food and good selection of grub.They also do a stall at Barton Market once a month and the pork pies are to die for.Always a great selection of pies etc and always great service.

Father's day Sunday lunch.Try and pop in here at least once a month for lunch whilst the kids are at school and always left wanting more.Great vegetarian/vegan options.Recently visited and devoured the garlic mushrooms and then jackfruit street tacos. Mouth wateringly good. Really friendly place and if I'm not with husband on a cheeky lunch date I'm with the kids and it is always warm and welcoming.6 of us visited today for father's day and enjoyed 3courses each. Vegetarian sausages available without a fuss and was delightful as ever. Suprise blue cheese leaks were devoured and these full time side dish on your main menu. I think you are now my Dad's favourite place to visit when he comes from Hull and without knowing it you are helping us create long lasting happy memories for my kids.Best place in Barton!Xxx

What a gem. This hotel is super clean and tidy, dog friendly and the food is superb. Nothing was too much trouble and the overall experience, coupled with all staffs demeanor ensured that we will visit again next time we are in the area. Reasonably priced and relaxing. Special mention for Keira behind the bar, the chef and cleaning staff! Often overlooked in reviews.

The George Inn is located right in the centre of Barton Upon Humber. The carpark is relatively small but we had no problem getting a space when we arrived around 3ish in the afternoon. Check in was swift and we were shown to our room which was well appointed. Free wifi, smart tv, coffee maker, tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed, fridge, all present. As we were visiting family we didn't eat in the restaurant except for breakfast which was very good, continental fare, cereals, full English plus several other items on the menu. They are also dog friendly which was a major plus for us. The only minor criticism related to the shower/bath. In room 6 the cold water pressure seemed low and it was difficult to bring the temperature of the shower down to a comfortable level.
