returned to the car to this location in a rush because we had to get to Harrogate to collect our belongings from the recovery companies yard before they closed. I spoke to a very lovely lady who completely understood and completed everything within a minute. incredible customer service and such empathetic staff. thank you so much you made it painless and allowed us to arrive in time to collect our belongings

Cannot fault our recent hire of a vw multi van the vehicle and service from the staff at the grimsby branch was excellent throughout will definitely be using their services again

Great experience from the Grimsby branch. We hired a car last minute for a few days away due to ours being in the garage. We requested a Volvo XC60 and actually got an XC90 which was even better for us with having two kids and needing all the space we can get! Amazing car, perfect condition. Service was effortless in store and we would recommend and use again in the future if needed. Thank you so much

Very corrupt and immoral
They are currently trying to claim on our insurance for damage that was not ours the damage was pointed out but not recorded by them. I STRONGLY advise you NOT to use this company , plenty of other good ones to choose from. Take your time and read other reviews many customers will state that they have been charged for damage they didn't cause, you have been warned. !!!. See enterprise rent a car complaints, yes they have a Facebook page dedicated to complaints about Entrrprise rent a Car. What does that tell you . PS 1266 views so far on this comment. Now 1558 views and growing . After I originally posted this truthful review a few years ago, I have seen other customers post similar issues with theft and dishonesty. please don?t use them please ?. We reserved and paid for a car but when we arrived to pick it up they didnt have the car we reserved. So we asked for a refund , being told we must wait 7 days . 2 months later after many calls we were refunded. We will never use this company again.

The company I work for rented a car for me and I put down a £200 deposit. I returned the car on the Friday 3.30pm 4pm being the cut off time no damage to the car and returned in a reasonable clean condition. I was refunded £160. I rang and spoke to enterprise at the Grimsby site I rented the car from and they could not give me a valid reason after speaking to Charlotte several times all I have been told is it's with our accounts team in America. I have not had any feedback and still haven't received the remaining £40 of my deposit. I would like to say don't believe the reviews but sadly they are true. If I could give a 0 star rating I would don't bother investing your time and money to a company who doesn't value customer service. I am now at the point where I am taking legal action at this point it's not about the refund it's the principle of honouring your customers and the service you should be offering.

Asked for Mercedes A class , was told when I arrived I needed a credit card which I didn't have for the deposit . So instead of asking or looking at other vehicles I was given the next most expensive ( Nissan qusqui) suv not a small hatch back . The 2 lady's working didn't care or couldn't be bothered to look at other cars or prices was told that was it . So in total was charged double the price I could have paid . Won't be using these again . This place is unprofessional

Avoid using Enterprise Grimsby at all costs I had booked a Luton van with a tail lift a few weeks in advance due to moving house I wanted to collect at 16:00 on a Thursday and return 16:00 on the next day so we could load the van on Thursday evening and just wake up and drive to our new house on the Friday
I contacted enterprise the morning of collection just to double check the guy who?s answering the phone was very suspicious on the phone saying that they needed to go collect the van
Anyway I collected the van at the agreed time drove it home went to start loading it but the tail lift wasn?t working ?? so I rang them straight away only to be told to ring the recovery people up then to be told they only come out for mechanical faults so rang back again to tell them I was returning the van and was told that they didn?t have another vehicle
The reason I chose enterprise was because they are a reputable company so didn?t want to use a back street hire company but lesson learnt that The backstreet hire company was the best by far went to see Jason?s van hire vehicles 8 o?clock Friday morning and he managed to sort one straight away so guys my advice would be to use small family run businesses

Friendly efficient service. They can pick you up and drop you off when taking the vehicle back. We use them all of the time and find them reliable and economical. Our latest rental was a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) - a Ford Kuga and it was wonderful!
