Went for a birthday meal. Stood waiting a while before being shown to table. Had mixed grill and the sirloin steak. Meat was tough and grisly. Pleased we didn't have starters or a sweet. Long while since we had been here , hence it will be a long time again.

Nice village, nice pub, tasty food. Outdoor area where you can eat (it does get booked up).

I already knew I loved this pub with it's delicious home cooked food, massive portions and lovely staff and environs. But today...oh my goodness....talk about knocking it out of the park....
