Lovely garden centre. Had a lovely meal here. A huge maze for the children and a large play area and sandpit too

What a disapointing meal i had yesterday! I chose the lite bite gammon firstly no egg or pineapple ,then when it arrived the gammon was mostly a piece of fat on a plate! Ok i undastand it was a lite option but the sorry portion&quality of the meal for meal did not warrant £9.99!!!!!! Just to mention this was my "treat" for mothers day!

We had chips which were very greasy, ciabata was okay but not much choice for small meals.

The cafe is overpriced and the food is very disappointing. 4 chicken wraps (with salad or chips, so opted for salad), 3 tiny pieces of chicken, a teaspoon of salad and Coleslaw, and a cup of really weak tea, £41!!!!! Never again!!!

Went for carvery, didn't know meat and potato pie and sausage plait was classed as part of carvery. Was not informed by counter assistant plait had chutney on top of sausagemeat,as some people dont like chutney. Girl who was taking payment asked if we had allergy, counter assistant serving food didn't, quite pricey too. There were only 3 of us.

We have visited the restaurant often and have always left satisfied but today was different. The service was lovely as always but our food was luke warm and very bland. The sausages were anemic and to be honest it really disappointed us. This was the first time we had ventured out since my Mum passing away and my Dad having a stroke in such a short period of time so we wanted a nice quiet meal out, very disappointed.

We had a nice visit on 10th February, we had carvery for lunch. My Daughter & I had sausage plait, I was very disappointed that I wasn't told about the layer of chutney between the sausage meat & pastry. I don't eat chutney. We also found it very expensive. It would have cost less at The Jug & Bottle for a large carvery. We wouldn't eat here again, but the actual garden centre was very nice for browsing around.

Really lovely place. Nice products and a restaurant that has great staff. Always have lots of choice, and I would like more vegan options, please.
