Started my 4 year old on the preschool swimming lessons, found them to be very impersonal and not interested about any previous swimming experience or abilities on his first lesson. He got into the swimming pool and was swimming around before they even noticed, after a few minutes one of the teachers turned round and laughed that he was already in - there was only 3 children so surely they should be watching them all. They tipped water over his head before even talking to him, whilst he was still swimming, this is something he really isn?t keen on and had they actually called before the swimming lesson like they are meant to or shown any interest I could have told them. I understand this is something they need to learn however abit harsh after a few minutes in his first ever swimming lesson there, and whilst still in the pool with no warning when the other kids were sitting on the edge. Don?t know why people who don?t seem to like kids are doing the kids lessons. Cancelled membership and won?t be coming back.
Also the changing rooms cubicles stink of wee and all nappy bins were overflowing
EDITED TO ADD: promised a phone call in the response below, what a surprise no one ever called.. again.
ADDITION: Morgan did phone me to discuss the issues, I am satisfied my concerns and poor experience was taken seriously but rating remains the same as this shouldn?t have happened in the first place

We use the swimming pool, both our children are attending swimming classes. There teachers are fantastic, they know each child personally.
The front desk staff are also very helpful, it feels very personal.

I use the gym and I recommend it. It is small, but very clean and organised, the staff are very helpful and easy to approach. Very good personal training prices and easy to book on the app. I tried to find the right PT for a few years and here I found Curtis (personal trainer) who is amazing at what he does and he is highly knowledgeable!

I started to take my daughter here for swimming lessons with dawn who was absolutely lovely, however I have removed her from the class now due to rude reception staff on the front desk every week very unprofessional and even had eyes rolled at me one week when I asked them to buzz me through the gate for the swimming class. Also changing areas are not particularly clean or hygienic, not a nice environment at all and will not be returning here.

Overall a really good gym and swimming facility. Generally well kept and clean, although they have had an ongoing issue with their air conditioning in the gym which is making it a little unpleasant in there, however that's not the staffs fault.
Staff wise, they'd get 5 stars if the review was just about them, very good people, special mention to Curtis who is a great asset to their team and seems to get along well with everybody.
The gym can get extremely busy, more so lately due to what appears to be an influx in new members, but overall it's still a very good site to attend

People here are epic, all the staff and the people swimming. However, they advertise it as slow, medium and fast lane and actually it should be chatting/ stationary lane, extremely slow lane , and slow lane (people with floats are swimming in the 'fast lane') . Not really any good for people who want to get their lengths in. It's good for a chat and a mingle though and tbh I just met the locals. I got sad cos I basically kept getting behind People and almost touching their toes so I chatted to them instead. Yes I could overtake but from experience that savages my body and I can't get as many lengths in plus it messes up my breathing as I do front crawl. Also they have a weird take your shoes off policy but the changing rooms are filthy and full of dirt. The hairdryers blast about 4mph a bit like someone blowing breath on your hair - I mean it does help because it's hot air ( feels a bit like someone who tells micro lies/story's about their life which you know is blatently untrue but you have to listen to it anyway). You do know that people with veruccas and fungal nails/feet go swimming and they walk around the floor right, also people with ringworm etc.... Taking your shoes off to prevent a bit of outside bacteria in won't really help keep the changing room clean, unless the actual flooring is kept clean/disinfected. Which is obviously isn't! Anyway, I'd go again even it's just to chat , but not really to train!

Shame you have to pay for parking here
