Lovely, friendly and welcoming pub. Was greeted by the locals as we walked in with friendly smiles. Bar staff and waiter were very welcoming and attentive. The food was great with very generous portion sizes. It was lovely and fresh and very reasonably priced. Pub was very clean and with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend ?

Absolutely lovely meal. Lots of food on the plate . Everything cooked nicely and piping hot . Staff were on the ball and helpful and polite. Compliments to the chef and all staff .

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here and couldn?t be more impressed. The food was absolutely delicious?proper home-cooked fare with generous portions and loads of flavor. You can really tell everything is made fresh, with care and attention.
A special mention has to go to the lovely waitress who looked after us?she was one of the nicest girls we?ve ever met. Friendly, attentive, and just genuinely lovely, she made the whole experience even better.
Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. And if you?ve got little ones, the garden is a real bonus. There?s a great outdoor space with a climbing frame that kept the kids entertained while we relaxed and enjoyed a drink in the sunshine.
All in all, a brilliant spot for a relaxed, family-friendly meal. We?ll definitely be coming back!

Bland food. I had salmon, I was served boiled potatoes with no seasoning and frozen vegetables - shocking. I wouldn't even make that at home let alone be served it when out for dinner! My friend had a roast dinner with Turkey, her food had no flavour either. The coffee was vile too!

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere. Food & drinks very reasonable. Food very tasty, nice to find a pub with good wholesome food, and not a gastro-pub.

Pleasant and unexpected stop due to sudden need for a coffee by a friend. Any 'shires' pub with old architecture and lush greenery growing over at least half of the structure is attractive anyway, so that's a win. The fact that outdoor seating at the rear was accented by welcome appearance of the Sun made a quick stop last for over an hour and while chatting lazily, other midweek punters also rolled in and out of the cosy interior to soak up the flowers and foliage of the rear garden and undercover area.
Atmosphere was spot on.
Overall score.... well, I'll be going there again with my partner on our next sunny day off.

Myself and my mother Di enjoyed a sumptuous Sunday lunch! The food was absolutely tip top, and service was 1st class.

Absolutely fabulous! Did Paisley & Zack's wedding photography. Really friendly pub and the most amazing space at the back for weddings and parties. Highly recommend, just beautiful location!
