Mint and Ginger Café has become a regular stop for us on our cycling routes. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the cakes are just as good ? the perfect pick-me-up during a ride. Friendly atmosphere and a reliable favourite every time.

Fantastic coffee. Left phone on outside table and a member off staff returned it to our car. Very thoughtful. Keep up the good work.

Refused to serve breakfast items after queueing for 15 minutes even when breakfast menue finished 8 minutes before. Complete waste of time. Poor service, unfriendly staff.

Popped in here for a lunch today - we were on a walk in the area. Tasty lunch and a nice outdoor searing area. Will definitely visit again.

Absolutely lovely. Staff were friendly and polite. We had the standard afternoon tea, there was so much food! And it was all really lovely. We couldn?t eat the sweet course after so much savoury, but were given take out boxes to bring the cakes home. Would definitely recommend and will return.

I visited on the second hottest day of the year, it was a lovely place to sit outside with a coffee and a piece of cake both of which were decent value for money. Nice venue for the mid point of a motorcycle ride through the surrounding country roads.

I went with high expectations and left with my coffee glass still full. I ordered the jacket potato with tuna and cheese and an oat milk latte. The jacket spud needed some seasoning. It was very bland, but the potato was cooked all the way through and piping hot it just needed some salt. I was pleased that the salad didn't have tiny chopped up onion. That was the plus. Now to the coffee, I didn't taste any coffee... it just tasted like milk, and it didn't taste like oat milk. It also had things floating at the top, like you get if you've left hot milk and got that film on top... the coffee was a disaster, it also came in the biggest tall glass mug that had a winter theme on it, totally unnecessary, a normal mug would be a lot better. It was a shame to be honest and unsure if I'll go back. I've also never had a response to an online query I made about gluten-free options, and when I was there, nothing stood out to say they offered it.
One positive, they selle Hygge hot chocolate which I did purchase.
Parking: Parking is easy, it's to the left as you get to the end of the single track and then it's a short walk to the cafe into the courtyard to your right.

Edit: Thank you for your reply and my apologies I have only just seen it. We visited the coffee shop the Saturday Morning I left the review. Do you have an email address, don?t worry about the voucher but happy to discuss as it?s a lovely location and shame for people to be put off visiting.
This place should be brilliant but the staff can?t be bothered and don?t want the custom. Opens at 9 but still waiting for coffee machine to warm up at 9:25. No nice welcome, poor on every level. Party of 8 ended up walking out.

What a lovely place this is. Great location, food is lovely too. We sat outside surrounded by sparrows hopping around & above were buzzards & some swooping swallows.
