I've not eaten here. So I can't comment on the food. It does seem to be a popular place to eat.

Great food and service. The Sunday roast dinner was lush, followed by custard and crumble ?the staff were also very friendly and very welcoming, and I would definitely return ? thank you, Karen and Di ?
Good food lovely country pub run by very nice publican, good range of beers,been many times and will be going again, without doubt.

I am sure on a good day it is fantastic. The beer is great and the staff we met were excellent. However, we had planned to eat there and although they were serving .... according to the website ... Unfortunately the landlord had gone to the races and so we left with our appetites unfulfilled. Will try another day with fingers crossed.

Shame there eas no food available, but some good beers and nice welcome. Billesdon worth a visit to walk from.

We?re on holiday in Billesdon for a few days and went to The Queen?s Head for lunch.Great, warm and friendly welcome from the jovial landlord.Really good home-cooked food.Had lunch there, the two of us, and then went back the following day as a party of five.Excellent service and very reasonable prices.We highly recommend this great pub and it?s fabulous food.We ate at this pub last year on holiday 2023, and returned this year 2024 and we?ll be back, we hope, next year?! It?s our favourite pub around the Rutland area.Thank you.

Six of us had a birthday celebration lunch. We all enjoyed our meals, efficiently served, piping hot, excellent chips. The menus are on a chalkboard -fine with me - and a variety of pub favourites are served, simple but done very nicely and good value. Had a Theakston's mild to wash it down. The bar area is comfortable and unpretentious with various interesting antique farming artefacts on display. A proper village pub, I'd like to visit again.

A friend and I meet here periodically as the mid-point, more-or-less between our respective houses. We like it a lot. Nice vibe & nice (well kept) beer selection. We reside in the bar which is tiny with low ceilings and head bump hazards everywhere, making for an intimate and cosy atmosphere. It really is very quaint. We don't bother looking for anything else as this is just the ticket. There is a more expensive restaurant area (through the door that we do not pass). I have eaten in the restaurant but not since about late 2016, so my memories of a very agreeable experience are somewhat dated now, but perhaps still current.
