Dropped in for a spot of refreshment and were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff and customers. A thirst was upon me and it was soon quenched by a pint of Wainwright's Amber - a great beer at the best of times but at the Fox and Hounds it was spot on. I would have stayed but was in the middle of a 12 mile walk with friends. I'll be back!

Our group went there for lunch after a walk and I'm sure everyone was more than satisfied. The food was very tasty and a different choice from the usual pub grub, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the pub has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff are fantastic and really welcoming and the food is the best part of all of it! 100% recommend!

Wow, amazing food, all freshly cooked, staff were brilliant. I had pate starter which was a meal on its own, followed by the rodeo burger which was amazing, the wife had the goat cheese and tomato tartlet and the kellogs kicking burger, never tasted a burger like it, would definitely recommend and will be returning in the not too distant future, thank you.

Our third stopover at this pub, always great food and tonight was 2 for £20 burgers? would of been happy to pay full price it was delicious, great pun wish it was in my village ?

Never disappoints, always made to feel welcome and never rushed. Food is amazing and portions are very generous. Lovely venue for a family meal out.

Family have just had a fantastic Sunday meal. 7 adults, 2 children. The staff were lovely attentive yet unobtrusive. The food was lovely, plentiful and served hot. Good value.
The menu was a Sunday lunch /Dinner range. A much larger menu is available through out the week.
