Called here for lunch with two grandchildren. Cafe was clean and tidy. Food was average. Bill came to £25.10. Had no coins but a £20 and a £5 wasn?t enough. The proprietor changed another £20 for the 10p. That was enough to give it ?? ? Would not go back for that reason alone.

Well done to the Cafe Stoney Stanton. Pulled Pork in a Crusty cob with stuffing for £3.50. Very nice it was too !!!!

Very disappointed with our breakfast. Me and family had sausage baguettes and the baguettes were burnt to a crisp and there was only 1 sausage in the whole of the baguette which didnt even taste like sausage! It tasted horrible and poor quality. Was awful and was soon binned. Such a shame. Wouldnt recommend.

An excellent local village cafe with a very homely friendly feel. There is a good menu choice with varied and unique coffee specials.The food is delicious and beautifully presented.You can also be tempted by the sweet counter!!You can book to have functions at the cafe and they often cater for different community groups to have a social gathering. At the time of writing the staff were busy preparing Christmas dinners for local village groups which is why the opening times are not late afternoon to cater for private functions.There is a good menu selection for breakfast and lunch, takeaway or order and pick up.There is also outside seating depending upon the weather. There is also a dog menu.The staff are friendly and helpful.There is a car park that serves the library and surrounding shops.
