The steak and ale pie was delicious, I wish my venison and rabbit casserole was bigger because I enjoyed it. I was still hungry after that but it came with half a kilo of white bread. Fantastic place to stay. Really comfortable, cosy and homely. Owners are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. Breakfast amazing and delicious. Take it from a family of 4 who have stayed 4 times now and will be more. Evening meals and Carvery also fantastic. Lovely atmosphere ?

We had a great Sunday lunch here with each of us having beef, lamb and pork. Very quick, tasty with lovely cauliflower cheese. Not living here and coming up to take the child out for lunch (Uni) it was a great discovery. Will go again and we took the dog. Very polite and helpful
