Groupon deals searchers beware! This restaurant has a recent 1 star rating for food hygiene. After visiting last night I understand why. We bought a Christmas groupon voucher it actually make the whole experience more expensive and the cleanliness has a lot to be desired. Dirty saucers / utensils / chairs dusty I never want to return photo shows my coffee cup saucer that was presented to me I only noticed as I lifted my cup and the dirt was not a stain it came off on my finger shocked beyond belief.

A quaint, cosy restaurant, where you feel like you are dining in a home more than a business. The service we received was friendly and joyful, nothing was too much trouble.

This is the last time I take a recommendation from my brother. Raw onions in everything, very unusual sauces but certainly not pleasant, weird fish that definitely wasn't snapper...reall looked and tasted like bassa tbh and a good amount of it was not cooked...30mins later and my stomach is already hurting...pretty annoyed. My wife just reminded me that the pasta wasn't linguine, was cold and had a pipet sized amount of pesto on it. Now I'm even more baffled as to why I even paid.

Great food - we went for the seafood and it was all cooked beautifully with delicious sauce, prawns all so tender and mussels lovely and smooth. Mushroom starter was amazing! Great service too! We?ll be back!

There was a pleasure to eat in the Cheikho's ,food was delicious,rich in taste as we was group of family everyone ordered something different and we wasn't disappointed. The person working there (I think it was the owner)was a welcoming and very friendly, lovely person in the right place.Wine and dessert, just done beautiful the end of the evening.Thank you Cheikho's and I hope to see you soon.

The calzone was fabulous and the lemoncello dessert was very delicious. The staff were very friendly.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options.Kid-friendliness: They where very kind and I don't think they could do any better.Wheelchair accessibility: They put the ramp down especially for us and went out of there way to make room.

Kind and attentive service from Ben and a cosy setting, albeit in need of a refresh. Small things like the Aldi branded salt grinders on tables and stained placemats could certainly be updated. The food unfortunately isn?t what I would consider authentic Italian cuisine or restaurant standard food in all honesty. The mushroom starter was baked mushrooms on top of a warbutons thins sandwich slice, squeezed into a small dish. The pasta dish I ordered contained almost raw garden vegetables (not chargrilled as described) and lacked flavour and seasoning, disappointing. It?s a shame as it?s a great location and as mentioned, Ben seemed lovely, but the food sadly lets the place down.
