Carvery was good. Vegetables overcooked, roast potatoes like aunt Bessie?s not crispy. Yorkshires flat. Alright for the money though. Food was hot, service great, would come again so can?t be that bad!!

I went for a meal with a friend and the service was amazing from Ellie! She went above and beyond for me and my friend who both have additional needs! Very friendly and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back again!

It was quite a hot night last night and quite stuffy inside. Food was lovely but I would have been better just having main course as having a starter meant I was full and couldn?t finish my meal. My fault not the restaurant! This was our second visit as its local to all 3 of us.

We had a delicious meal tonight at The Dovecote. We hadn't booked and were seated quickly. Mostly, we were served by Izzy who was a bright, good humoured and attentive server. We both had burgers which were tasty. I was disapointed not to see the fudge cake on the menu. Izzy made our experience great. Thank you to her and all the whole team! ?

It was nice food, one meal was ordered wrong so one of our party of eight had to wait for food. Expensive fruit juices. There was nothing wrong but wouldn't rush back.

We have never had a bad meal in the dovecote. The atmosphere is great, in a beautiful building and always a great choice of menu. The food is always fresh and tasty, and we regularly return. If you live locally, it?s a lovely walk down Whistle Way (old railway line) to the Restaurant.

Once again the Dovecote was super. We had the carvery for a change and the potions were generous.exceptional cuisine as we've both come to enjoy. We added a dessert each, mine was the lemon posset, scrumptious. My wife had the Raspberry & white chocolate roulade. Yummy, melt in the mouth delicious. Waitress Bianca excellent service. We both enjoy it here. See you again soon.

Great service, visited for a christmas meal with family. Everyone really enjoyed the food as it was well cooked, Good portion sizes. I ordered seabass and it was melt in the mouth served with a delicious hollandaise sauce accompanied by capers providing a tangy taste, well balanced beautifully presented ..compliments to the chef and great service too ...wishing you all a merry Christmas thank you very much team.
