Went there last night for the first time. Wonderful staff, great food and very well presented! 100% change that we're going back for more. Plenty of nice dishes on the menu.

Something very different for the area, and perfectly executed. First went in 2021, and it?s been a perfect place since.
We always go over the top with drinks, but the food and drink prices are super affordable, especially for what quality you?re getting!
Formal or casual; tacos, curry or beef ribs. It caters for everyone, and everything. If you?re on the fence, go.

Wow. Burrito was basically tikka masala in a naan bread. Terrible. I ordered mexican food and all I got was some weird Indian food trying to look ?Mexican? (absolutely not). Idk if that?s some kind of joke. Even churros were so messed up batter totally runny in the middle so gross. Never again.

First time eating here, certainly hope it won?t be the last.
The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The restaurant wasn?t very busy so slightly lacking in atmosphere but that?s to be expected of a Sunday evening.
If you?re a fan of Indian kormas, I fully recommend the Guatemalan curry and my brother thoroughly enjoyed his chilli con carne.
I will certainly be telling family and friends about Tamalanda.

An unplanned visit as hotel restaurant was closed. Taco starter was excellent and Ximxim main I could of ate for the rest of my life!

We had a mixed experience but overall it was average. Pros - nachos and the burrito were good, as were the churros -
but its hard to get these wrong in my opinion. Cons - the prawn starter comes in a thick sauce and the prawns haven't been shelled so very difficult to eat without wearing the sauce, we sent it back. The lamb chops try to be some sort of fussion and came on a field mushroom, with mash, peas and carrots. Who has peas and carrots with a Latin inspired dish? It just didn't work. Overall I'd give it 5/10. Okay, but not one to revisit.

The place is nice, but I wouldn't consider this Latin American food, as there were no Latinos working or cooking. Maybe Latin inspired. Good service.
