Hi. The room itself was actually fine apart from a big water stain on the ceiling from room above. Pillows were a bit hard tbh.The main complaint was that the air circulating unit in the ceiling was so noisy, I actually didn't sleep all night as it was so annoying. Premier Inn really need to be addressing this issue. Won't be going back, sorry.

Illogically, the hotel car park isn't as the picture is shown but in an industrial park round the back of the hotel. I recommend going to the reception at the front and requesting the small map that they have prepared for the many of us that have got lost while trying to follow the many road signs. The cooked breakfast on request is even better than the usual Premier inn arrangement. The shower is rather unpredictable though.Unfortunately & inconveniently, there are no USB charging sockets in the room.Noteworthy details: See my initial comment about getting to the hotel car park. And the lack of USB charging sockets.

Stayed here a number of times as family live in town. Rooms are starting to get a bit tired now but are always spotlessly clean. Breakfast is decent for the money too. Staff are always very helpful.Rooms: Rooms are starting to need a refurb or painting. Most rooms have walk in showers but worth requesting if you have difficulty with a bath, parents were put in a room with a bath last visit but this time we requested a shower and they were able to accommodate.

Ease of booking great, access to Melton is ideal.Breakfast was lovely, well worth the money and the service was great. Matt was clearly putting in a good shift over Christmas! And thanks to Trevor the chef at breakfast - good service.Car park gets full easily and is accessed by the stairs at the rear, not easy for unloading from.Family room was a little small with a baby cot (second floor) and no bath this time.

Had some personal matters to deal with. So I decided to book here as I know ?Premier Inn? has a great reputation.I wasn?t disappointed at all. Firstly the receptionists, Nicola and Rhianne were a credit. I wasn?t mentally all there and they were just brilliant. Put me at ease and sorted everything effortlessly, with a smile and great banter! Also, the room was excellent. Had a great 5 sleeps. Topped with the lovely cleaners to cheer me up even more, Zoe, Debbie, Poppy and Hayley were so helpful.Got to mention Nichola in the breakfast area. She was a cheerful bolt of lightning who, again is a fantastic person who made my day!Thank you everyone. It?s been brilliant! Have a great New Year!Adam

Really nice and warm room. Bed was very comfortable. Duvet is not as thick as i like and also only 1 pillow each - it would have been nice to have extra pillows and blankets in the room. Bottled water would have been nice, but apart from that, no issue.Staff were really friendly, and we checked us in quickly. Lift was in good working order, and I had a small issue with a second room key. But it was rectified quickly. He struggled with the door lock but again but managed to sort that out without reporting it.Water for Bath was not very hot, but the bath was very clean and a good space. We had breakfast, too. I don't eat pork( personal choice)or dairy(allergy), so I was pleasantly surprised to see vegan sausages and bacon. It was cooked on request, so it was fresh, I asked that mine be cooked in a separate pan, and I was assured it would be. It was very nice. My husband was not happy with his fried egg but ate the rest of his fried breakfast. A variety of juices on tap and normal and herbal/fruit teas and coffee. There were cereal, pastries, yoghurt, and fruit. My only issue was there was no dairy free yoghurt, and the only other milk was soya, which I detest. But it was good.Safety: There is a car park, and it has spaces very close to the building, too. Good for females alone. They do check who you are, or you enter without a key, and the door to the rooms is the key card locked by the afternoon, so that is good. I felt very safe.Walkability: It's pretty close to the main town very easy to get to if you don't know Melton Mowbray. Nicely situated and recognisable.

Lovely stay at the Premier Inn. The staff were very helpful on arrival and made the procedure effortless. Overall I was happy. The breakfast was cooked to a really high standard expected and Trevor the Chef made sure things were as how we had asked for them. There was no issues and he was also very friendly. The room was up to standard and had all the facilities that you would expect. You could also pick up additional brew making kit from at reception if needed. Thank you.
