I genuinely don?t know how the majority of people on here can say the staff are ?so friendly.? Are we even talking about the same place? Because every time I go in, I seem to have the opposite experience. Is it just me? Lol, maybe I?ve got one of those faces that screams ?ignore me, I love it.?
Now, credit where it?s due: Mark is a top bloke. Genuinely helpful, always got a decent attitude, exactly how you?d expect staff to be. And Oceane (hope I?m spelling that right) is an absolute superstar ? the kind of person that actually makes you think ?oh wow, maybe I will survive this shopping trip without losing the will to live.?
But as for two other members of staff in particular? well, let?s just say if customer service was an Olympic sport, they?d be competing for last place. Rude, barely speak to you, and somehow manage to make you feel like you?ve personally inconvenienced them by existing within a 10-foot radius.
My personal favourite moment? I?m at the self-checkout, the red light flashing like it?s trying to summon Batman. I wait. I wait some more. A female member of staff finally strolls over. Relief, right? Wrong. She looks right at me, makes direct eye contact? and then just walks straight past. Left me standing there like a lemon while she carried on with her day as if I was just part of the furniture. Honestly, I started to wonder if I?d turned invisible, or if this was some sort of customer service social experiment.
So yeah, if you like your shopping trips to come with a side of being ignored, feeling awkward, and wondering why you even bothered ? this place has you covered. Shout-out again to Mark and Oceane for being the rare gems in the mix, because without them the whole experience would be completely unbearable.

Have always had good experiences however the opening times are wrong I Went along to get painkillers at 6am which is the time listed but it doesn't open until7

One Stop in Melton is so convenient. The staff are great and very helpful. Good levels of stock for a mini store and good value offers.

Went to pick up my Too Good To Go bag as was available, which great because this way store itself no getting massive losses on writing off the food, but get some profits from it. But it was 1st and last time...
Once came in have a look around what's in offers etc as haven't been for while.. meantime said to really really scared looking girl which was around the front that I've got TGTG bag to collect but need pick up network connection to bring up app. Meantime she got busy with customers at the tills. So turned trying to not loose the connection again to swipe the collect to 2 staff members restocking fridge. Been answered that; yeah thats fine bag is in the chiller. And there carried on restocking (shocking is that smal shelves of pop need 2 staff members to fill them up, one passing can 1by1 from pack to the other who put it into fridge shelves) after some maybe a couple seconds just realised that he told me to go and pick it up myself... so asked that and no answer was back for that at all but they carried on filling up that poor fridge.
In the end fumming looking guy, not sure if manager or just staff member steamed to the chiller clearly irritated by fact he had to stop his restocking and serve the customer went to chiller but didn't have enough courage to give it himself, so he passed it to even more scared looking poor girl to pass it to me....
Not surprised that this store is never busy or can see more then 1 customer in when I'm in and only to get some Ciggies or Lottery...
What a customer service, hard to believe for all those comments about friendly and nice staff.
Well done Mate, you really showed today that you have no big interest into even working in customer service ?

Turned up at 10am today to find the store closed with all the shutters down. No notice as to why.

Just recently the shop is never open on the times it says on the door I went this morning at 07:40 and it said on the door , Do to unforeseen circumstances , and the door was locked had to go and get my car and go elsewhere, it seems to occur every 4 or 5 weeks NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!

Got all you need for a convenience shop. Somethings are a miss not much sandwich selection or freezer items.
