It is located in good place I think
It isn't the same bank feel as it was in say 2006? what happened to the banks? I guess we are heading to cashless service and cashless lifestyle when all will be monitored what's is coming in and out of an account
I think service was good but it all is lacking of enthusiasm from members of staff and one day soon you will be all unemployed because Lloyd won't be paying you for sitting around doing not much, seriously try to be for customer when is there with you, don't behave like you can't be bother...

For a well known high street bank I can't believe I am writing this review but here it is anyway. After helping my elderly mother setup internet banking so she can manage her money better she was then bombarded with alerts from the Lloyd's fraud team asking to call them. We did this and explained how we want it to work so my mum can transfer me money for bills etc that I already pay for.We was then told on the phone we 'simply' need to visit a local branch to confirm who we are and match some photo ID up.We visit our local branch in Melton Mowbray and get my mum's ID confirmed with her driving license and PIN number for her card.We then get taken to a side room where the very nice staff member called the fraud team. Shortly after connecting the call I was ask to leave the room so they can confirm this is of my mother asking and everything is above board. My mum is over 70 and medically very nervous of situations like this which is why I assist her in as many ways as I can. After returning the room nearly an hour later to see what is going on I can see my mother visibly shaken and upset about the whole ordeal. She told me they pretty much interrogated her for most of that time and eventually denied the internet banking and transfer request! Surely preventing someone from doing what they wish with their own money is illegal! So after wasting all that time and having to take my mum back home to bed to recover from this traumatic episode we are no better off. She will now have to go out in all weather to use the cash machine when all this could have been avoided.Shame on you Lloyds for doing this to my mum.I hope people read this before using this company as their bank.

Top help today from a member of staff (Rich) who went above-and-beyond to get an account issue sorted out for our amateur dramatics society! Thanks Rich.

It would be a good bank if they didn't open at 9am and shut at 3pm. I am not sure if they are using Covid as an excuse to work part time, but customers who work full time need to use the bank too, especially when running a business.

Judging by the â??litterâ?? on the desks Iâ??d guess the staff are on a 5:2 diet. 5 sweeties and then 2 swigs of coke. Maybe the staff were generally rude due to low sugar levels.
