“I was in a very dark place. The staff could see I was not ok. They refused me alcohol and took the time to make sure I was ok. They went above and beyond and pulled me back from the ledge. I don’t think I would be here today if they hadn’t of been so kind and attentive”

“Always friendly hard working staff, we save so much on our weekly shop. You have the choice of branded products along with really good quality store products. A good place for your family shop. It would be fab if you could install express shopping checkouts!”

“This is a good Spar by far. There's a literal post office inside this small Spar. There was a lot of food, sweets and drinks. You do have to pay slightly more than some actual stores like Tescos, Aldi and Lidl. But honestly I would come here everyday for anything.”

“It’s a very good store. Nice wide aisles, good parking with wider spaces, too. A pleasant and fresh look to the overall space, inside and out. My late wife was from Melton, so I know the place reasonably well. I have never found it a particularly friendly town and generally pretty cliquey. Move this store out of Melton and put it in Nottingham and I’d probably give it five stars. But miserable looking stony-faced shoppers within in do have a negative effect on the overall retail experience.”

“This Tesco is one of the best Tesco I have been!

First, if your car ran out of fuel you can fuel it (now it's closed but they're doing roadworks maybe expanding it)

Second, they have a variety of things to get, also it's very massive and they have a self checkout.”
