Wouldn't recommend if you are taking a prescription to the pharmacy and want to wait for it. Have been twice this week. First time ended up waiting about 25 mins and second time was told the wait would be 15-20 minutes and ended up waiting just over 50 mins. Staff we were nice it just takes so long if you need to wait for it whereas other pharmacies in melton will do it much quicker.

Prescription till , plus 2 other tills that never seem to be staffed.
Always a long queue, 4 staff on duty but no one serving, to busy putting up bits of paper on wall.

Melton Mowbray store Saturday 1st March 2025 I was lucky enough to find one of the most helpful members of staff you could ever wish for Celina was helpful, knowledgeable and cheerful seems rare in this day and age to find outstanding service ? I left the shop with extra products and a smile on my face from the experience ? well done boots the chemist and huge thanks to Celina.

I have never received what I would regard as good customer service at this branch, however the pharmacy team today were particularly rude and condescending and portrayed a really poor ?couldn?t be bothered? attitude, clearly not suited to a customer facing role. Subsequently I have now changed my nominated pharmacy.

Tried calling because I have been waiting for my prescription for 10 days. 20 minutes later and still no answer, and in that time they hung up twice. Extremely poor customer service, whoever is in charge of the pharmacy section needs summary dismissal.

The female staff's attitude is disrespectful to customers, she always follows us as if she is afraid we will steal something, when we talk, her attitude makes us unhappy, please replace with a new staff and will never go there again

One star because the shop had what I wanted. Whilst the stock was good the service was lacking. Walked in at 5:26pm to be told at the door ?store?s closing in 4 mins? .. no ?hello? or ?just to let you know?. When I went to the counter there were two tills. The customer service assistant just tapped on the side to the one I should be at. No ?hello?. Didn?t ask for my boots card. Only told me the price and didn?t even ask if I wanted my receipt. Absolutely shocking!!

Born and bred in Melton and won't be stepping foot in here again. Woman at pharmacy desk attitude was awful. In fact embarrassing considering others behind us turned away. Asked some basic advice regarding medication was spoken to like we should have already known and were putting her out by even asking....all of this after waiting 5 mins while the two colleagues had a discussion while the group of customers waited in a queue. If you don't like the public get another job!!!!!! Came out and plenty we bumped into knew exactly who we were talking about. I'll be encouraging as many people as possible to avoid Boots Melton now and not expecting a response as its clearly common practise with a number of similar reviews with zero response from them......shocking from a company that big too.

A very quiet Boots this afternoon approx 14.30. Poor customer service at the tills, a two way conversion between 2 young members of staff on the front tills. Both continued to talk throughout my interaction. Scanned product, inserted boots card, didn't work, young person still didn't acknowledge me. Card removed, rubbed, put back in. Told amount, paid. Had to ask for receipt, all the way through I wasn't acknowledge at all. Absolutely terrible! Staff need training or retraining on importance of good customer service.

Two stars because they had what we came in for. Unfortunately we had to interrupt a 3-way inappropriate staff conversation to get served only for them to continue the conversation whilst serving us and sliding our items across the desk without saying a word. Poor customer service.

Understaffed. Often no one on the tills and you need to ring a bell. Even ends up not opening sometimes due to lack of pharmacy staff. Otherwise it's an ok small sized Boots store with a (limited) range of most things.

I would like to thank Boots pharmacy who sorted my urgent prescription out so close to closing time, today. You efficiently took my enquiry call and a family member was able to pick it up very soon afterwards.
