Just returned from my father?s birthday meal, ordered the fillet steak but asked for peppercorn sauce, arrived swimming in grease, peppercorn sauce SHOULDNT be made by rock hard peppercorns you put in a grinder, absolutely disgusting, asked for it to be changed for something quick, to be told they will give me sauce without peppercorns, plate returned with the same vegetables on the plate! For £27 pounds it was very poor!!

The atmosphere was nice and calm. The service was mostly fast and the server was lovely. We were seated next to the front window and it was quite cold. I had the calamari for starter and it was THE WORST calamari I?ve ever had, it made me feel sick and I certainly couldn?t finish it. For main I had the 4 cheese risotto, it was nice to begin with but soon got sickly. For dessert I had the profiteroles, they were lovely but quite big

I really hate to leave a negative review, but you need a new chef. Amore used to be my favourite restaurant in Melton before if changed hands, however this is my second bad meal in two months (both on the same night of the week so presumably cooked by the same chef). My first meal was a steak which was ordered rare and came out grey, completely well done and full of grissel. Then last night I thought I'd play it safe and ordered the cheese risotto, it tasted like someone had dumped a pot of salt in it, I even got my partner to try it as he often over salts his dinner and he said it was too salty for him. The waitress was polite and professional on both occasions, but sadly I won't be giving the restaurant a third chance.

First time dining here and we won?t be returning.
The food was just incredibly bland. No seasoning, no hit of garlic, chilli, just beige and uninspired. Front door bizarrely propped open all evening so the restaurant is filled with the soundtrack of a very busy and noisy road immediately outside. Waiting staff didn?t ask us if we were happy or if everything was okay etc.
Sadly, not a good experience.

Loved this beautiful Italian Restaurant. From the minute we rang to book the warmth of the place came through. Our waitress was so lovely and the young man also serving was very polite & friendly. The food was amazing. Chilli oil and parmesan added an extra boost. Prosecco ? gorgeous and reasonably priced.
Highly recommend 10/10 Bellisimo full of Amore ???

Vegetable platter had cold veggies and undone. Pasta said melted mozzarella on top, which I couldn't see much. Seabass was horrible to look at. Never in my life I have seen seabass curled up, but I could see it here. The highlight was peas, which i have never seen in pasta or on chicken in Italian restaurants.

Six of us dined last Saturday evening.
We all enjoyed our meals, wine was good as was the service. Very reasonable prices.

Booked last minute tonight, we were so happy they had space for us! This is the second time we've been here and we love it. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. I could hear people around us complimenting their food too! Looking forward to our next visit as there's so many options on the menu we want to try!
