Great Spot for Families!
The outdoor play area has been completely transformed under the new management ? it's now a fantastic, secure space where kids can play safely while adults relax nearby. The whole area is enclosed, so there's no risk of children wandering off, which really gave us peace of mind.
We went on a Tuesday and grabbed one of their amazing food deals: two pizzas from the main menu and a large portion of fries for just £20. The pizzas were delicious and more than enough for our family of five.
What really stood out was the Secret Garden ? a peaceful, adults-only area that doesn?t allow children or dogs. It was the perfect place to take a break from the busy play area and enjoy some quiet time.
The staff were lovely ? polite, welcoming, and very attentive. All in all, a brilliant place for families, and we?ll definitely be visiting again!

Was in the area visiting a mate from back in the day, and this was the nearest pub within easy walking distance to his house. What a find, nice looking pub, inside and out with really attentive, efficient, friendly and polite staff! Large garden that caters well for all ages, we were surprised how quiet it was on such a hot day, but we arrived early to make sure we got their Sunday Roast, absolutely amazing quality dinner, we were both more than impressed. Large portion size without being too much, and very good value, cannot fault! An Everards pub I think, so had a lovely pint of Tiger, a really nice ale that always tastes great. Not sure of her name, but a shout out to the blonde staff member, she was really awesome ? Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again!

Came for a Sunday dinner at the coach and horses. We have been here a few times and every time the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The Sunday dinner was very nice and the beer garden is perfect

A family friendly local pub with lots to offer, from play park, bouncy castle and giant sand pit for kids to play in, to delicious food (including special pizza night!) and much loved quiz nights, we've enjoyed every visit to the coach and horses markfield. Staff are always very welcoming, including to our dog - who loves the free treats at the bar and all the attention from staff and customers. Highly recommend.

So upon arriving at this pub i was greeted by rude sour faced staff i didn't feel welcomed at all but guessing by the look of them clearly had a heavy night before.
I was really hungry and wanted food but walking around noticing other customers food and hearing complaints i decided i would drink my pint and leave upon having a sip of my pint tasted like the lines hadn't been cleaned for a while overall a quick and bad experience. This is not a fake review just bad standards

I ordered the pie mash potatoes and veg (cabbage) nothing had taste ,I couldn't tell what the meat was .the girl said how was your meal I told her horrible ,she replied oh I am sorry .I ate very little of it .

It's my wife Dawn's birthday today, we went out to the Coach and Horses Markfield and what a brilliant meal we had.
Cooked fabulous, served by Amily & Hannah. Couldn't fault it.

Brilliant team work and staff at Coach and Horses.
We had 3 ladies who served us, (Martha, Beth and Laura) all kind polite and tried to accommodate my partners awkward carnivore diet.
It was brilliant tasting food. Second time we have visited in a month due to the staffs welcoming attitude and tasty food, even the chef came to check our food was OK.
