Great Spot for Families! The outdoor play area has been completely transformed under the new management – it's now a fantastic, secure space where kids can play safely while adults relax nearby. The whole area is enclosed, so there's no risk of children wandering off, which really gave us peace of mind.

The Coach & Horses Markfield is a family friendly pub serving great food and beer. Being newly refurbished and decorated both inside and out this year (2025). A beautiful bar area with an open fire, ample bay window seating with a T.V screen, a games room with pool table and dart board, cosy snug with a second open fire place, main restaurant and a second middle restaurant providing ample table dining space. Other features inside a downstairs disabled toilet and a children's play room. Outside to the a huge beer garden with ample patio and lawn seating, a sandpit, outdoor play area and bouncy castle to keep the children entertained, finally an adult only separate seating area too.
