As a self-confessed bookworm there's nothing better than a browse around a bookshop! This is a branch of Waterstones that I get back to from time to time, when I'm in Market Harborough. There's plenty to look at here, a good children's and young adult section and a good stock of new books in hardback and paperback.Always worth a visit if you're in town, the staff do a great job and have searched out a few good books that I've been searching for.Great job Waterstones Market Harborough!!!

The staff are always so friendly, never had a bad experience here they always help when you need it or get excited with you about the book you're buying. There's such a range of books as well you're almost guaranteed to find what you're looking for.

I had not been to Waterstones since before the so-called pandemic; I had been buying books from divers places, especially second-hand bookshops by means of the Internet. So I decided to drive to Market Harborough and visit Waterstones. I arrived at 0855 and at 0900 the doors were opened and in I went. I was warmly greeted by a charming, polite, and exceedingly knowledgeable young lady. I browsed upstairs, then downstairs, shelf after shelf after shelf of books on divers topics to entice the heart or brain; romance, history, biography, sport, wildlife to name but a few. I purchased two books and used my Waterstones Plus Card, which enables one to save towards future purchases. I departed as happy as a lark. Then I remembered I had not purchased four books I longed to read again: Thinking about Thinking, Straight and Crooked Thinking, The Meaning of Meaning, and The Tyranny of Words. I consoled myself with looking forward to reading the two books I had purchased: Rivets, Trivets & Galvanised Buckets and A Nursery Rhyme for Every Night of the Year.Yep! I am as happy as a lark!

Always a nice shop to go in to. Two floors of books, friendly and knowledgeable staff, lots of choice. New releases at the front of the store, with crime and fiction at the back along with children's books. Upstairs has a wide selection, including cooking and reference books. Well worth a visit when you are in Harborough.

Lovely bookshop. Great staff. Love browsing around and looking at real books, not screens. Can't beat tactile things like books.
