My wedding ring arrived later than expected. Unfortunately I hadn't ordered the correct size for the type of ring I had bought. With less than a week to the wedding I wasn't sure I'd be able to use it. Tim was incredibly helpful and prompt in having the ring sent off and resized for me in plenty of time before the wedding day. He also contacted me promptly during the whole process to check I was happy with the adjustments that would be made to the existing ring. When I received the ring, I couldn't be happier with the end result. Fit perfectly and the design was not compromised at all. Thank you so much for all your help Tim! Would highly recommend to anyone needing support with their jewellery.

Tim Thornton owns a superb jewellery shop in the centre of Market Harborough. Tim is a very highly trained and knowledgable valuer, gemologist and jeweller. His expertise will help answer any question on jewellery. I highly recommend Tim and have recommended him to many friends who were delighted to buy from him. Having visited numerous jewellers, I can say IMHO that Tim?s shop is the best jewellers in the whole of Leicestershire.

Simply superb service from Tim at Thorntons in Market Harborough. While we waited service, a link and a battery put into a Tissot watch originally bought from them years ago. The cost? £10! Another Harborough jeweller wanted to send it away and quoted about £80 to do this. Advice about my everyday Swiss Army watch also thrown in for free.Very highly recommended.

I am over the moon with the special ring that Tim arranged to have made for me. It's expertly crafted and designed. Tim couldn't be more helpful, and he's extremely knowledgeable - he sourced the beautiful old-cut diamonds and a cushion-cut antique Ceylon sapphire. I am really delighted with the end result!

I called into Thorntons jewellers last Friday to buy a St. Christopher for a young Ukrainian man who was returning to his homeland to join up and defend his Country. The amazing man in the shop listened to what I was saying and then gifted me the necklace for the young man!!!! To say I was dumbstruck is an understatement, the young man sends his thanks and his gratitude for what you did. I don't often buy jewellery but when I do, it will be from you.

I had been trying without success for sometime to have a new strap replaced on my Anne Klein wristwatch. Every jeweller I had approached all said the same thing-it would be too difficult. Finally a jeweller who knows his business and had the skill and knowledge to complete the task. Well done Tim, it was obviously not any easy job, and you have a very satisfied customer. Supplied a quality (Hirsch) strap at a very good price and did the replacement quickly and efficiently. Outstanding and I highly recommend future customers to visit this jeweller who offers personal care and ?old fashioned? service, not found in many establishments today.
