Excellent food and service the lady that served us was efficient,welcoming,friendly and cheerful, despite being rushed off her feet doing everything due to being let down by other staff, we couldn?t praise her enough and the food also, we will definitely return ?

Booked for a group of friends with very short notice but the pub staff and Chef Jack made it a fabulous night with great food?. We will all return again soon? if they haven't banned us for the noise some of us were making?

Came here for my dad's birthday last weekend, with 5 adults and two kids. Two of the party had food allergies and we had mentioned this before our visit and we were provided with a choice of alternative suitable options.
They had even made a special dessert to cater to our needs.
Management couldn't have done more to reassure us, which is so nice to have a meal without worrying about the risk of an allergic reaction.
Food was lovely and quick service.
Staff were friendly and polite.
Will definitely return, thank you

We went there for my friend's birthday Sunday lunch. Service was ok. Kids around 15yo were there as waiters so that was odd. They didn't have one dish on the menu that my friend ordered and they didn't say they don't have so we had to wait more than 30 minutes for it instead to recommend something else. We got a complimentary dish as apologised. Explanation was that they cooked the meat freshly (so the rest isn't cooked fresh?!). The staff looked stressed. Also I believed they had a big problem with the Chef in the kitchen. We asked for dessert to share (1 portion split in two plates) and we got 2 portions on 1 plate... Seriously ??? My friend said when he came there for the first time everything was way better. Well happens. We won't go there again. Not worth the price.

A great Sunday roast dinner with all the trimmings! Perfectly cooked and well presented. Desserts to accompany the meal were fab too!

Lovely b and b in beautiful area, rooms are decorated nice and have all you need. We ate dinner and breakfast food is great value and delicious

We had dinner there this evening. The food was amazing. Focaccia was so soft and fluffy we later learnt that this is homemade. Best steak we have ever eaten. Fine dining at a reasonable price.

The Royal George is an amazing place. The staff are all very friendly, the menu has plenty of options. The food we had was excellent, well cooked and tasty. The room had everything you need, although a little small. But that is not an issue.

Delicious freshly cooked food, friendly service and a really nice location.Food & drinks: The chefs home baked focaccia is lovely well worth a try , the menu is simple but the food is great.
