Everards pub, usual everards ale range on, ok quality. Bit dingy, and beer price is expensive for the area. Food focused pub, with the bar area designed for eating. Overall mid.

Went there last night Friday with my brother-in-law and his wife the first pub we tried to get into was full and on driving we stumbled upon this little gem on entering the place was rocking but a friendly staff member ( NOAH)found us a table we ordered our food and we had two pints of everards tiger beer great little pint
Our food arrived and it looked lovely and tasted even better cooked to perfection the meals were the best that I've tasted in many a year so much so I've booked a table for this evening and I'm looking forward to it.
The staff were brilliant friendly and most of all always smiling and laughing a sign of staff being happy

I just wanted to comment on the below post. I was in the pub during this visit from the bikers for an 80th birthday party. I?ve never came across a bunch of rude individuals like it. They expected food as soon as it was ordered and belittled hard working staff with sarcastic comments. When you visit a pub that delivers quality food and has a small kitchen you should expect a wait but these lot couldn?t understand it. The Cherry has hard working staff who didn?t deserve what they experienced on Sunday.

We turned up without a prior booking the staff found us a table , service was prompt.
Food very good value.

So, the place is nice and seating. It's a shame that service was a lack of. And when food came it was shocking. You'd expect it to come out edible but that wasn't the case. Fish Over cooked chips under cooked. All frozen I expect. The stew meat was cooked but veg was under cooked. And bread for side you could of broke the table with it was so hard. It's a shame that was such a let down. I suppose they hope most customers are drunk they'll eat it. Definitely avoid if you want a nice meal out.

Fantastic ales, great selection. Good food. Courtney so friendly. Lois exceptional service. Ruby, said I was old & carrying my winter weight, but apart from that an absolute delight & great laugh, some dance moves too. WOW!!!. Can?t wait to come back!

Super pub. We visited on a wintery Saturday lunchtime and were easily seated. The beer was good and the lunches generous, tasty and good value. Will definitely visit again when I'm next in the area.
