Friendly staff and great food

Been here last week and this week. And sad to say there is more negative than positive about this pub.
Here goes, The steaks and fish and chips are the only nicely cooked food on the menu.
The service doesn?t seem very friendly and as if you should be grateful you are getting served. They also don?t check the food is ok. Only one evening in two weeks have they done that. Not good service at all.
Food tonight sadly going to say was the worst katsu curry I?ve ever had. Tiny amount of sauce and by the time they bring out more it is all cold. And after all that still didn?t check it was ok.
Apart from maybe 1 or 2 staff members. The rest just talk as if having to serve people is a massive inconvenience (very unapproachable.

The Langton Inn is definitely good value for money. Two lunchtime meals for £12. Food is quite good if you fancy somewhere cheap and cheerful. Staff are lovely.
Parking: Good parking available with the Premier Inn sharing the car park.
Wheelchair accessibility: On the flat no steps

Went in for breakfast with some friends, the food was delicious, and came out quickly. The waitress was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
Will be coming back! And would definitely recommend:))
Kid-friendliness: High chairs offered, as well as colouring and children?s cutlery! Super cute and considerate touch!!
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter the building or toilets, there is plenty of space for wheelchair users to sit with their friends and family.

Website states open till 1030 Sunday. Arrived last night 7pm to be told last orders for food 730 and bar closes 930. Rather a hurried evening before bed. In fairness staff were very pleasant but obviously working within the rules. Feel very misled
