Update: March 2024Extremely vague about the availability of dog friendly outdoor seating... so it's too unreliable to make the journey to then be turned away. The supervisor found my question, about when the outside area opens, too challenging to answer - seems to be in a week, or five weeks, or weather dependant or based on resource availability - non of which is very helpful to answer a customer. I shall take the opportunity to go elsewhere.Original Review:Huge range of produce. Nice farm shop cafe. Often busy so booking is advisable. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Dog friendly outside only. My last meal there wasn't great, so I received complimentary drinks. Service is sometimes slow when busy. Customer service is good if there are issues. Plenty of parking & toilets.

Awful lunch today, used to be a great place to go. Farm shop yes, eating there no. Hardly any pork pie with ploughman's, chips with the burger were awful, panini so hard you were lucky not to break your teeth. Quality has been compromised on more than one occasion now, even the full breakfast has suffered, a few crisps with the sandwiches now when you used to get chips, shocking. At those prices it's just not worth it now. There is still enough trade coming in for the managers not to notice but soon it will die a death. Advice, use the car park, use the farm shop but walk in to Harborough for some better food yo eat.

Lovely farm shop, with some beautiful products and produce. Also we had a lovely cooked breakfast in the restaurant, and the coffee was amazing. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

The shop was excellent. Good fair prices and fresh veg was fresh. Cafe very crowded and had to queue but found prices high compared to other farm shops with cafes in the area. Then the chips were served in a plant pot but no fork offered. Not ideal. Food should be in a dish or on a plate

On my visit I asked if vegetables and fruit are organic / or is there organic available I was told by the shop attendant they order fruit in. And was not sure if pesticides insecticides were used! Most veg stated it is grown on the farm but no mention of organic. There is plenty to choose from if you are looking for just anything but if you care about what you are putting in your body you might want to go somewhere where it states we care and labels the organic food authentic and genuinely organic! As I was only able to buy some lovely 100% Natural unblended unfiltered extra virgin oil on my visit. Its very clean and well stocked and the staff were friendly enough when approached...

Lovely menu in the restaurant. Good local produce in the main, but was disappointed to see spring onions imported from Mexico for sale. Not what a farm shop should be about.

Our favourite lunch venue in the area, lovely surroundings, great service and lovely food.

Afternoon tea was superb. A choice of savory or sweet to accompany sandwiches. Or 1 savoury and 1 sweet, a nice touch. Quality was first class as well, as service, unlimited top ups of tea or coffee. A particularly good farm shop is Aldo there, with local meat, home produced pies etc and a fone selection of wine and local brewery ale.Parking: Plenty of space when I visited

Really nice place to meet with friends. The food was good but would recommend trying to get a seat in the warmer area so your food doesn't go cold!

So much fresh produce, just vast amounts and at good prices too. There's also a lot of locally sourced and meats and bread from local businesses. Well worth a visit, was surprised how much there was, go when then bank account is feeling healthy and don't forget your bag for life, you'll need it ?

Huge variety of good quality fruit, veg, meat, cakes etc, but expensive. As far as I know, none of it is organic. The cafe serves up delicious food.Parking: Loads of space for parkingWheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair friendly.

Farndon Fields is hard to fault, we drive twenty miles to visit as we know the produce they sell is always fresh and interesting. It's hard to single out a department that is better than another, fruit and veg, Butchery, Deli, all offering quality items, it could be argued that their prices are somes a bit higher, meat fro example, but personally, I'd rather eat good quality less often.Their restaurant / cafe is very good too, nice staff, good food, efficient service.
