My friends recommended this venue and we visited on Friday and after buying from shop four of us tried the restaurant and were disappointed in the staff attitude, service and meal. We all had chips and salad with meals but for three of us the chips seemed like leftovers and majority were no bigger than 20mm in length and hard. The so called salad leaves were tasteless. If it had been a cheap cafe I could have understood but the prices did not match the meals and we will not be returning. Do not recommend to anyone.

One of the best farm shops I've visited, great range of products, beautifully laid out and presented. Cafe is excellent too with really friendly staff and good choice of menu items

Absolute 5 star plus review if we could give me more star we would of .
We had the most delicious lunch today celebrating our wedding anniversary my daughter and her husband joined us aswell .the service from start to to finish was excellent friendly helpful staff as normal always happy to please nothing to much trouble both in the restaurant and the farm shop. The food was amazing always freshly cooked and very little wait as we chatted over a cuppa tea . Its one of the top go to places we all love to visit & eat/shop. .

Farndon fields used to be amazing, however they don?t cater for vegetarians with their cheese selection, nor Christmas pre orders. There are so many amazing cheeses that are vegetarian & don?t compromise on the quality including Stiltons, hard cheddars and red cheeses, some of which are local, yet it?s like going back to the dark ages, animal rennet, animal rennet, animal rennet. That?s one way to loose custom.

No dairy free or vegan options for cake.
We bought something in the fardon fields shop and ask if we could eat in the cafe if we bought some drinks as they had nothing for me to eat. The staff member said that they are two separate businesses so she didn't want to, but as it was near end of the day she would but was very brash is saying it won't happen again.
The cake that my mum could eat was dry, they had turned the cake upside down assume they burnt or over cooked it was that dry. The member of staff argued with my mum about the fact it was baked that day so it couldn't be dry. It wasn't worth paying for!!
For someone who is breastfeeding and is going through allergy testing I find it difficult to buy food out. but most places have some leanancy when they have NOTHING you can eat.
Staff member in the caf. I hope she has left, as I haven't seen her in a while.
I used to visit with a large group of friends, but their attitude has put me off

There was more things missing off the menu than was available, and you'd think having the farm shop attached they could restock but the prices are probably too expensive.
Staff attitude they couldn't care less, this is a management problem.

visited for afternoon tea(a special birthday)gift voucher.When at the till told voucher had expired(no date notified) so had to pay. Contacted HO asked if could re-issue voucher reply was cannot extend voucher. Therefore my loss £40 is Farndon FS gain. Obviously they have no empathy for customers.

Terrible customer service. My mum received a gift voucher of £40 last year for her Birthday. Due to health and personal reasons she has been use the voucher over the year. After trying to use it a few days after the expiry date she was refused. I have been trying to get in touch with the evasive Ed Greaves the ?general manager? since 18th February to no avail! As he was on holiday or always unavailable, even after leaving my number I managed to speak with him today to be told that had if I contacted him in Feb (which I tried to on several occasions)he would have honoured the voucher! What a joke! Will be avoiding this place and spreading the word! Was not even apologetic! Worst customer service/manager experience ever! I even had to add one star just to get the review on otherwise it would be no stars

Disappointing. Brunch before my son headed back to university. Mine came out cold so by the time it came back he was almost finished. Not even the offer of a coffee on the house, just repeatedly asked if it was now okay. Awkward to answer honestly when you're just trying to have a nice time! Ref: Sat 11.01.24 at 1115

Amazing range of vegetables, meats, baked goods and treats. Lovely place to visit! A bit cramped due to the size and popularity, but that can't be helped.
