Ordered 2 salon Trollies unfortunately to be told delivery is 4-6 weeks. Need much sooner so asked for order to be cancelled (this is all the same phone call) only to be told no we can?t offer refunds or exchange on any orders. Staff were rude, patronising and extremely unhelpful. Will be the last order we place with this company. Should have read previous reviews before ordering.

I recommend SEC (Salon Equipment Centre) totally. At every stage, Jade was helpful, knowledgeable and supportive. The delivery was super smooth and the equipment of a very high quality and rather beautiful - also a great price. Thank you so much SEC!

SEC were easy to deal with. Living in Cornwall and so far away from the showroom I had to look online. Great range of salon furniture to view one the website and photos/videos on their social media pages. Once I finally decided on the look I was going for the staff were very helpful, easy to speak to on the phone and very knowledgeable. Delivery was very quick and all came well packaged.

I am really sad that I?m going to have to write this review. I found this company nearly a year ago and couldn?t wait to order a desk from them for my new salon. I contacted the company for the first time in July over a live chat where I received a quote and was told I can customise the nail desk how I would like. I couldn?t wait to get this ordered and asked how I go about processing the order as this wasn?t available on the customisation page. I didn?t receive no reply, so I waited, and then emailed again.I first emailed on the 12th of August but didn?t receive a reply till the 16th asking if there was anything they could help me with when my initial email, clearly detailed what I was looking for. I then got a reply back on the 25th of August now explaining that there is an additional cost which was absolutely fine with me but I wasn?t told that begin with. I then said this is absolutely fine. Please can I have a final quote that is correct and including how much the delivery cost will be. I received no reply. I then followed up on the 7th of September. And again didn?t receive a reply till the 19th of September at this point, I was getting frustrated as it had been over a month, and I just ordered as there?s a 10 week lead time. The lady said that she sent over the pricing. But I was confused as I?ve now been given three different prices, one being without a customisation as an extra, another being the price with the discount on the £60 customisation and finally up the full price with the £60 additional, which was obviously the correct price. So now I quoted price has jumped about £200. Which although it?s frustrating I just wanted to get it ordered at this point as the salon opening was nearing and I knew it wouldn?t arrive in time.I was then told to wait for the other lady to come back of annual leave, which I was more than happy to. She said she?ll get back to me on Monday. And by Saturday I still haven?t received a response so I followed up again. At this point, it is now the 28th of September. I still hadn?t received a reply, so I then followed up again on the 3rd of October. At this point, it had been nearly 2 months and still nothing. I express them in my email how this was my dream desk and I was going to be spending a lot of money so I just wanted to make sure that everything was correct and get it ordered as soon as possible.I still have never received a reply from this company. And I posted about it on Instagram and found that a lot of people had had negative experiences with them, including my hairdresser who said the furniture was awful quality. By chance Ellisons have bought out a beautiful range of furniture and their customer service has been 10/10 it is high quality and looks stunning and the customer service team have been nothing but amazing after finding out my disappointing experience with this company.Please avoid at all costs. Do not waste your time. I was so excited to order from this company and to still have not received a reply other than a very blunt voicemail which was not helpful whatsoever. It?s pretty poor.

Unfortunately not good service or communication at all. Received a damaged chair the first time which was then replaced with a filthy one. Initially was refused for the chairs to be replaced but after multiple emails and messages managed to get another one but with awful communication. Chairs are lovely but would never purchase from here again.

AVOID!!!!!!!Worst customer service ever. The head of customer service is clearly in the wrong job.After spending a sickening amount of money one of the mirrors come smashed which I was told cannot be replaced- it wasn?t even out of the plastic. They do not appreciate what you spend and I will never use the company again.

Jade was fantastic. I popped to the showroom (I live about 45 mins away) to have a look at a new reclining chair as I wanted to see it ?in the flesh?. Kind, positive, nothing was too much. Answered all my questions, did about 5 laps of the stairs finding things out for me! I just need the matching desk now!(Hannah from live chat too - also cannot fault and took many extra pics for me and sent them over)

I am very sorry to write this, but I have never encountered such bad customer service in the UK.I bought a mirror, every day I had to ask for information when it would be shipped - no answer.After informing that I wanted to cancel - I immediately received information about the next day delivery.I was planning to buy the rest of the equipment for the new salon there, but I give up.I do not recommend.

I bought a product from this company, I canceled it in a few days, but they charged me with a 25% price cut. They made a delivery payment without a request and deductions in tax payments. I accepted the 25% deduction, but it is ridiculous that they took delivery money and tax, which they did not do, I do not recommend in any way.

I was a new salon owner and not being a hairdresser I needed a lot of help and guidance when looking for my salon furniture. SEC were absolutely fantastic helping me get the right pieces and look for my salon which now looks fabulous with the khaki and champagne furniture. Highly recommend this business for their products and customer service.

Jade from start to finish has been amazing and was so nice to deal with. I have had not one issue and everything has been worked out so smoothly. Nothing has been a bother. Such a pleasure to go to the showroom and all the contact afterwards has been so quick and efficient. She really is a credit and really does make the experience even more enjoyable. ?

I have had my salon for nearly 20 years and have used SEC the whole time for all my salon furniture and have been pleased with them until my last purchase the service I received was shocking, if it would allow me to post without a star I would, so the 1 star is only so I could post my review. The delivery driver was great and cannot fault him at all, but Tracey who dealt with me with regards to the delivery was rude unhelpful and to be quite honest did not care that I was unhappy. I like to use the same company and be loyal but unfortunately this doesn?t count for anything. I was going to write a letter but I didn?t bother because they were aware of the problems I had and nobody called me to put this right so I decided it would not be worth wasting my time. So I will now be using other companies for any refurbs that I have in future as loyalty counts for nothing with SEC.

Hi i ordered 2 cabinets that were damaged inside on arrivalI sent pictures and had no response.I rang the company and spoke to someone who took my number and said that someone would call.No one did. I sent another email no replyCustomer service is non existant they obviously just want your money and dont care about customersDo not use this company AVOID !!!!!!!
