Came in store today after multiple trips to other stores and not finding what we were looking for. Pete (sales manager) was absolutely brilliant. My son has autism and finds it difficult in many stores. my son was running around and just being his usual self in the store. Not once did he moan or judge us which is what we are normally greeted by he was so kind and understanding. he helped us find exactly what we were looking for and went through all the credit options available to find what worked best for us. I cannot praise him enough for the great customer service in which he derlivered. We will definitely be returning again

I found the incredibly pushy, gaslighting, manipulative, commission based sales techniques completely repulsive.Despite my first choice sofa being from SCS, I have ordered my second choice sofa from another retailer because I couldn't face going back to SCS and dealing with the intimidation and non-genuine behaviour.I hated every moment of the shopping experience at this store and felt extremely uncomfortable.

Staff friendly. Took the time to explain in full on the sofa your looking at. Omar the sale man was friendly and not pushy in any way got me a nice deal on the sofa i bought would highly recommend Omar at scs if your looking for a new sofa

Where do i start !!!!! ordered a new carpet in 29th october 2022 received it on the 13th feb 2023 only for carpet fitter to tell us that its faulty !!! Replacement carpet came 11th april AGAIN to be told faulty and theyve cut it to SHORT FROM WAREHOUSE, only found out when carpet fitter was going to lay it , today is 6th may 2023 still waiting for replacemant scs not getting back to us YET .. rang numerous times !!!!!

Pushy staff. Wouldn't leave us alone to look. Three different people hounded us. Walked out after sarcastic comments because I said I didn't like the sofa he told me I would love.....why can't you let people walk around peace.

AWFUL just AWFUL - Not even worth one star ?ONE piece of lino in ONE bedroom for a disabled person. Not difficult you might think....well....1) "Yeh? What do you want?" ....is the vibe you get when you walk in the store. I wasn't prepared to below my needs across the shop.I made the order. What could possibly go wrong?2) Survey - A man came to measure up and went through requirements.... I told him that I'm not lifting or disposing of carpets and needed glueing all over as carers would move furniture regularly.AFTER ALL THAT, he still managed to put on form that I would lift and dispose of carpet AND lino only stuck around edges.After seeing this on an email I decided to drive to the shop to clarify. Happy to pay extra if necessary.....3) Second visit to shop - I kid you not, ONE HOUR and three people later I got a piece of paper with signature with new instructions and agreed extra money. Was told would be phoned when lino arrived to arrange fitting.4) Date of delivery came and went. Three days later I rang SCS to arrange. I was on the phone 45 minutes JUST to get through.Guess what? I had to clarify the order AGAIN.5) Day before event (bed also from Oak Furnitureland - great company), carers and outing arranged, day off work...."Sorry, something's come up we have to rearrange."6) I chose the nuclear option, so they found a replacement fitter (Scott & dad).....arrived on time and then removed carpet.Some of the carpet was wet so they refused to take the carpet as we had agreed . I'm sure they don't remove NEW carpet from people's homes. They didn't even have gloves which I offered to provide.I paid them the agreed lift, fit and remove price. At that stage I just wanted the job done and them gone.I had to take the carpet to the dump.7) They refused to take the carpet (even though I supplied plastic bags) which I kind of understood if they didn't want to contaminate new carpet in the van.I even still paid the removal fee (would have had to recalculate in a stressful time with carers and disabled person around etc).8) Here's the best bit.....They left THEIR rubbish with ME! ??They left (photo below) ALL the spikes on the carpet gripper, THEIR glue bucket, off-cuts of the lino and THEIR long plastic wrapping and THEIR cardboard tubing! ?NEVER go there! ??????You have been warned! ?

Very rude staff. Walked in and they were all sat on that same sofa gawping and none offered to smile. A man called ?Pete? came over and asked if we needed any help, we told him we were just looking but thank you. We proceeded to look around, we saw nothing of any appeal.We got asked again (by the same gentleman) further round shop if we needed help and if we saw anything we liked, we were honest and replied ?not really? and laughed. We then got told, very bluntly, to ?get out then?. I think this was some poor attempt of a joke as he said he was ?only joking?. It came off as very rude. And gave us the impression that, as soon as he realised we weren?t interested and he wasn?t going to get his commission, his attitude changed from welcoming to being dismissive and rude. I think this is a very poor attitude to have when working in customer service, especially when we had already mentioned we were just browsing.I think the staff should learn how to act professionally and would benefit from basic manners.

I purchased set of sofa with coffee table for £1700 after 4 months the sofa cushions is sinking and stitches Fall a part rubbish quality sofa it was the first time I purchased in SCS and it will be the last never again don't waste your money even ebay cheap quality last 1 year!!!!! I'm really disappointed

In-store staff great after care not great at all. First set of sofas had to be sent back,and at same time maneged to scratch my floors and was a nightmare to deal with. Then new sofas started falling apart less than 2months after having them. Will not be getting sofas from them again.

Got to give praise, thanks and gratitude when and where it is due. Recently bought sofas from SCS Loughborough and must say that Pete gave us nothing but help, assistance and professional advice from the word go. He was attentive to our needs provided excellent advice and made the whole shopping experience a pleasure not a choreWhen we had an issue with the purchase of our new house, Pete pulled all the stops and rescheduled our sofa delivery date to accommodate our needs. He is a really genuine nice chap who is an asset to SCS. Thank you.

brought sofa and cuddle chair had it delievered 8 weeks ago had nothing but problems . patches on cushions where you sit getting worse by the day, been told so many things have caused it still ongoing with staff but been told by head office no problem from their end, been going on now for 2 months had enough paid £1,800 paid looks as if it is 8 years old not 8 weeks.going to see soliciter now,would not go to scs again treated very bad.they take your money quick and do not sort out problem.

Lied about delivery time. Just know if you order, the delivery time will be 4 weeks later so ill be looking at 3 months wait when mine arrives. Due to covid they have a backlogged warehouse
