Food was amazing, unfortunately low staffing levels meant we waited an hour for our food and having three young children in our group made it challenging.Pub only half full so not an issue on customers.

Popped in without a booking at 6pm last Weds 13th Dec. Immediately shown to a table. The food was delicious and piping hot. We were served throughout our visit by a lovely lad called Adam. He was really attentive, kept checking we were ok. It seemed as if nothing was too much trouble, and he made us feel very welcome, an absolute professional. The restaurant is lucky to have him as one of the faces of Harvester.Merry Christmas. x xParking: There are notices at the car park, asking you to check in your car inside the restaurant?. Very easy, just enter your reg No on the device inside the door.

The food and service here can sometimes be hit or miss but on this visit, it was almost perfection. The only thing that let it down was the salad. The hot food we had though was delicious and the staff were very nice and

The staff and atmosphere are always very good here and it is always conducive to a relaxing meal ? There is plenty of parking but make sure you enter your registration number when you enter the restaurant so that you don't get any charges. The staff always provide a warm welcome and they are always very polite and attentive. There is plenty of room and the place is always clean. We always enjoy the unlimited salad bar and the main menu meals ? All in all it is definitely worth a visit if you are passing ?Parking: Parking is FREE but just remember to enter your registration number at the front desk when you enter the restaurant.

I organised a family get together here for 12 people. One of the family members has some significant health difficulties including a visual and hearing impairment, poor mobility and sensitivity to noise. As a large group we knew we would be reasonably noisy ourselves so were looking for a venue that could give us pretty much our own space without too much additional noise around us.I enquired with the staff on site and they were fantastic. They organised a large well lit area for us to sit and ensured that we were able to get the family member in and out of the building with ease. It was perfect. We were so impressed with the high level of customer service they gave us on the day. It literally couldn't have been any better! The food was delicious and great value for money. We had a the best time and will definately be returning.I would thoroughly recommend this as a family / disability friendly restaurant.??

We went for the Christmas Fayre Menu, [rotisseried chicken] given how good it's been in the past.It was superb - a real plateful, excellently prepared by the chefs whose achievements are so often overlooked just because they're largely out of sight 'backstage'.Our server was absolutely first-class.It's difficult to see how things could be improved - the whole evening was thoroughly and deliciously enjoyable.

We love the Harvester Wheat Sheaf! We visit here a couple of times a month, usually for breakfast which is a regular guilty pleasure but occasionally we come for an evening meal if we have time. This Harvester is especially popular and pretty busy in the evenings so you really need to book in advance if you don't want a wasted journey or to have to wait.Staff here are always always lovely and approachable - favourite members of staff are Dawn, Ben and Molly and they seem to truly love their job and go out of the way to make you comfortable.Food here is always hot, arrives pretty to your table fairly quick, is reasonably priced and of course, very yummy. We recommend steak and ribs as it's always high quality meat and cooked exactly how you like it. The salad bar is a great extra, there's a good selection of salad items and we always find it well stocked.Keep up the good work guys, you're doing awesome, we can't wait to come back ?

Just been for lunch we did book as its always busy at weekends nice sunny table very clean, I ordered battered halloumi my partner had the BBQ pulled pork burger absolutely beautiful meal the salad really fresh from the salad bar, nice lively atmosphere drinks lovely and cold, the only thing I would say just a tip for blue light card holders they don't accept them at weekends only Monday to Friday, not a problem didn't spoil the meal at all, just a tip to anyone going at weekends not to ask about blue light.... its not a negative at all.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians are well catered forParking: Make sure you put your number plate on the screen at front reception desk

Would have been 5 stars for the food but we ordered 3 steaks - 1 medium rare ,1 medium and 1 well done all of them were red in the middle but when mentioned it was dealt with immediately. Becky who served us was polite, jolly, informative and very professional she was a real gem she lightened the evening up for us and deserved all the praise she got. Will go back again enjoyed the food especially enjoyed the service and the whole experience was really good.Kid-friendliness: There was a small child playing by one of the machines and he was happy as Larry and it put a smile on your face.

I took my son out for dinner in the evening so was quite dark outside, (late October), and I didn't notice that the car park had a camera system. Car park was almost full and I was focussed on finding a spot. I've been to this Harvester several times over nearly a decade and there was no camera system until more recently, which is another reason why I didn't notice. Imagine my surprise when a £100 parking fine turns up a week later. Why didn't any of the staff ask if we had parked? Please instruct your staff to ask guests if they have parked so they don't get stung as well. With the prices of everything going through the roof, the last thing I needed was a £100 parking fine. I'm so angry, I feel like I've been scammed. I binned the receipt the day after the meal, so I can't contest the fine now.The food was fine and it was a good steak. No complaints about the food/service at all, but I will never come back.

We arrived about 3.45pm as a group of nine without a booking. The lady looked a little hesitant but went to talk to her manager. They quickly prepared a table for us and mentioned they had a party of 20 due so maybe we?d like to order fairly quickly. The staff were superb, often popping over to make sure everything was ok. When we arrived there were a couple of tables occupied. When we left it was half full but although they were busy we were still well looked after. The food was excellent, plenty of choices and combinations, delicious, hot and generous without being too enormous. Definitely a great place for a happy family treat.Kid-friendliness: Great choice and lots of possibilities for all tastes and appetites.
