We choose floors of stone because they had the tiles we wanted and they have great reviews. Sadly, they missed the mark with us. Long story, short: Floors of Stone has chosen a miserable haulage company and rest assured, that will be YOUR problem, not theirs. Which is unfortunate because they charge an absolute fortune for shipping compared to other tile retailers.We ordered the Brazilian multi-colored slate tiles. They were set to arrive on a Monday. Late in the day, however, I get a call that they have the wrong area code and the tiles won?t be delivered until Tuesday. That?s fine, might have been my fault. FoS promise that the delivery company will call an hour ahead but that?s a lie. They didn?t for any of ours. On Tuesday, they deliver the tiles but only one of the two pallets. I make calls and am assured they will look into it. Never got call back. Wednesday rolls around and I get a call to tell me the tiles have been delivered! They aren?t delivered though. More calls, assurances made, zero call backs. Finally, at the end of the day, I get a call to tell me the tiles won?t be delivered until Thursday now. Finally get the tiles mid-day but they?re three days late and all I get is an apology in which they basically just blame the haulage company?that they chose.As for the tiles, they?re very good. We got the Brazilian multi-colored slate. Very difficult to install because the the variance in thickness but overall not too bad. The variance in color was well balanced. Only 1% of the tiles were damaged and completely unusable. However a good 15-20% had a least some damage (scrape/chip/too thin) that made them only suitable for partial tiles. My floor area was 36sqm. I ordered 40 and used 38.I have a couple more projects and I would avoid using Floors of Stone unless I absolutely had to (they had exact the tiles I wanted).

I would highly recommend Floors of Stone. They had a really good range of tile designs, both premium and more affordable ones, that are well thought through. Customer service is also spot on. Molly & Ellie help us massively after we had a small snag with our floor (entirely our fault) so big thanks to them. We?ll definitely be going back!

Just loved visiting the showroom. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Eventually decided on the Talis Tumbled Marble for my hallway. Makes a grand entrance indeed.

Amazing place! Beautiful showroom in the most beautiful building and the products are just as beautiful. We chose floor tiles for our kitchen renovation and they are stunning. The staff are also brilliant. Big shout out to Ellie who was fantastic with our order and also Joe who helped with some other product advice. Would highly recommend.

I purchased the travertine country mix floor tiles for our kitchen renovation, the tiles came exactly on time, superbly packaged and were everything I could have imagined, rustic, mixed and beautiful! We would highly recommend Floors of Stone. The showroom at Cotes Mill is shared with DeVOL kitchens and is well worth a visit. We eventually chose Hambleton Oak and it is a beautiful addition to our new kitchen - great quality and it looks fabulous. Thank you to Ellie for her help, attentiveness and care.

We have now laid 2 floors in our home the kitchen and bathroom we used Umbrian limestone for the kitchen and terracotta hexagon for the bathroom we are very pleased with the Floors of stone for there products and service and there helpful communications.

Terrible, change delivery date, which was fine, waiting around all day for delivery, rang them a few times and kepted on changing the times, early morning, 10.30am, noon, 2pm, 3pm then 4.30pm. Cancelled the delivery as it was too late and arrived on site at 8am next morning. Slabs weren't great at all. Calibration was all over the place, underneath the slabs was terrible. Must of lost half a pallet worth of slabs due to being poor condition. Picking the slabs out of the pallet and they brake in your hands. Also there was broken slabs in the pallet. Not happy at all!
