Staff excellent.
Unfortunately, the deli counter is being neglected by the owners it would appear as is the butchery department.
Used to be an excellent range of hams, sausage and meat.
Due to the equipment not being repaired, not the same now.
It's time for the suits to get their act together before customers like me, walk away.

It's as expensive as Waitrose, but they certainly don't spend the money on adequate staff numbers. I particularly recommend avoiding the place between 4-6pm, unless you want to stand around queuing while the 1 or 2 beliguered checkout staff try frantically to deal with everything. The deli and butchers are pretty good though.

Great place, love all the deals, especially the crusty cobs fresh everyday and a bargain for 23p each, not a great selection of salty crisps, but the staff are friendly

Not what it used to be. Massive reduction of options on the Deli counter, wine selection has gone down hill dramatically, fruit and veg still OK. Shame, as I used to be so proud of how good our little supermarket was.

A good place to get your everyday groceries, most of the staff are friendly, and I can usually get everything I need.

Excellent products and the customer service in particular is above and beyond.The tall slim assistant manager is really helpful whenever I shop in this store, nothing is too much trouble for him and his contribution to his company is phenomenal.I sincerely recommend shopping at this place, as all the produce is very good quality.Thank you Matt!

On the slide since co-op affiliation & change of management.Fingers crossed it'll become the great shop it was again, but there's a way to go.Update:It did not become great again.Crazy Co-op prices.No more that pleasing 'well that was less than I expected' at the checkout. More ' need to go to the superstore more often'.Really nice staff.Really bad owners.
