Boots in Barrow is going down hill fast. Prescriptions consistently ordered in advance over a week are never ready when you go in.

Visited pharmacy whilst on holiday in Barrow u Soar. Ran short of medicine difficult to obtain during a national shortage in this medication. Assisted by very kind and friendly staff and pharmacist. Established that they did have a small stock of the medication in stock and a suitable alternative. After my GP sent through a prescription, I left very relieved, happy and within 20 minutes. Well managed, efficient and friendly pharmacy with a very happy and relieved client. Thanks!

These reviews are very old and out of date. It would be helpful if the reviews were actually more now,which would be alot more helpful. Under new management. These aren't a true reflection,of now. I personally can't fault the service and the expertise of all the staff. People are very quick to write bad reviews! It's not always there fault,please have a bit more kindness and respect. its a shame there isnt a setting for zero stars. my wife signed up for text allerts for when her prescriptions are in . she had one today but to be extra sure she rang the pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist gentleman who checked and said yes mrs batts both yourt prescriptions are in. My wife drives to the chemist to be then told only 1 of the items are in and youll have to come back another day , absolute shambles . we both work full time and unlike other members of society we dont sit on our behinds all day and have all the time in the world . awful service.

Where do I start!
Walking into this establishment I used to believe my doctor had prescribed me the wrong drugs!
Me thinking I was Alice trying to get sense out the Mad hatter. ?
But also have wondered maybe it wasn?t me and that the pharmacist got their qualifications online from the University of Kazakhstan, Utah or just from the back of a post it note. ???
Either way, with me realising I wasn?t in a bubble of disbelief and the fact being they couldn?t organise a drunken protest in a brewery, this place is comical to say the least.

Every time one goes to this branch there is always excuses that the prescriptions are not ready because they are back logged. Also there could be a long line of people coming in but only one staff member serving while staff in the back ignore the line of customers forming.

This place is shambolic. Nobody ever answers the telephone. Waiting for a prescription fulfillment is horrendous. Always a queue of disgruntled customers. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for a prescription they have told me there is a huge shortage. I rang another pharmacy this morning who told me there isn't and they have plenty. I now have to get boots to release my prescription so I can get it somewhere else. Let's hope they can get this done. This pharmacy totally lets Barrow health Centre down.

I don?t know how this place is still opened as a pharmacy. The service is ridiculous. The wait times are ridiculous. They can?t even bother to answer a phone call. 10 calls later and all it does it ring. I?ve not had 1 good encounter with their service yet and it?s been 5 years! I end up having to transfer prescriptions over to Loughborough just to get them in time! No one should have to leave the village feeling unwell just to get medications in order for us to get better.
