Our family prescriptions come here direct from our GP but I will be changing to other pharmacy. Not only is the system inefficient and wait times long but the staff are offhand to the point of rudeness. Its worth going the extra mile to Mountsorrell Pharmacy

Really frustrating when you request prescriptions in plenty of time and the pharmacy don?t alert you that they are out of stock/ can?t find any.
I?ve ended up coming off psychotropic medication and going through horrendous withdrawals this week whilst I try to find medication elsewhere. This could?ve been easily avoided if they?d just sent a text to let me know before I went to pick this up over a week after my request. So upsetting, and withdrawal is now making me ill during a super important time at uni.

Never answer the phone. Always short staffed. They wait until you chase them up before they look at the prescription. 9 out of 10 times they haven?t got the item in stock, so you have to wait another day or two for it to come in. Member of staff said they are a week behind so advice is to use another pharmacy or ring them as soon as prescription is sent from Gp surgery and get them to process it there and then and tell them you are calling in to pick up within the hour. You might get somewhere

Rude staff and I did not like having to say in front of the whole shop what my medication was for. I kept trying to quietly mouth the word ?the pill? but she was very good at understanding. Plus they take over a week to get a prescription ordered through the GP ready and you still have to chase it with them

I visited your Boots Pharmacy Quorn last Friday to buy some ************ and found the process very irritating.I was asked the usual product use questions which I find very personal only to find out they were sold out. Pharmacists seem to be desensitized in terms of asking these questions and should use more tact and diplomacy, especially when other customers and staff are present.I was quite anxious before I walked in so this experience frustrated me and I shouted f***** useless on the way out. The Pharmacist (Shazma Khira) asked me not to use this language. However, if they had checked to see if you had the product before asking me the personal questions it would have gone very differently. Trying to victim shame me was not the correct action to take.As I was wearing a hidden disability sunflower lanyard I try to make it obvious that I might need some reasonable adjustments to your usual processes. For example, you could of invited me into a private consulting room/ area. There are many people with hidden disabilities that use your Pharmacy and I hope you learn that we are different and need different processes to be able to communicate effectively to make a good product selection
