Very disappointed with new policy - probably dictated by greedy accountant - in that no more can you request a Ham & Tomato roll. There is no choice! Basically, you have to have Ham Salad roll; no doubt with half the amount in a Ham & Tom roll which I've subsequently enjoyed for many many years. And price is bumped-up to £2.95 just for leaves/half slice of cheap tomato. Birds is going downhill!!
Also, heard account - by Birds staff member - of "old lady" wanting just Ham roll ie no salad - which was duly made-up for her - but was charged full price (£2.95) for half slice of Ham even though she didn't want salad.
Congratulations Birds, keep-on ignoring your customers, and see what happens...........
It is now against the law to buy a Ham & Tomato roll from Birds!

I adore Birds bakery with all my heart! The staff are always friendly and always cheers me up! I love getting the lemon and jam tarts, cream puffs and the Victoria sponge cakes. They also have beautiful decorations for the coronation recently too!

I use different birds stores with work and this has to be the most unhelpful store. All the other stores make up sandwiches when they?ve ran out (by 1230) and this place always says we?ve ran out of cobs when I stand looking at bags of the things. Terrible service. They might need to look up what customer service means as part of their training.
