On the 31st of august at 5 o?clock, I came to your post office (LE15AD) looking to send 4 medium size packages and was met with one of your employee who was extremely unprofessional, unhelpful and unpleasant to me.
I explained to her that I was planning to send those boxes to France, and she acted like I was an idiot. She changed her tone and without any explanation told me that it was not possible. I had to ask her for more details multiple times before she said that a single box would cost £70. I told her that online it was maximum £20 and she just brushed it off. She then asked what was in those boxes and I explained that it was full of different types of belongings from my student flat that I?m moving out of, but I assured her that I made sure that all my items followed the regulations of the prohibited and restricted items list. She then just replied « no » when I said I had plates in one of those boxes. It made me very confused since it is written nowhere that I am not allowed to ship crockery.
She wasn?t providing clear answers, and didn?t look for informations on the computer in front her. When I showed her the official Royal Mail website when it says that a box of 20kg shipped to France would be only £20, she replied « that?s not right » and said it wasn?t the real website. I felt completely unheard and treated differently due to my French accent because as soon as my English friend spoke to her, she changed her tone and gave him clearer instructions. She still wouldn?t help and basically told us to do it ourselves, without more informations. I left feeling unwelcome, distressed, and in tears. We only realised once we came home that the boxes could be collected from my place. The issue I have is that she never explained this to me nor my friend.
I?ve never experienced such discrimination and insolence from any establishment as I have from this post office.
I hope you take my complaint into consideration and teach your staff how to handle this type of situation better in the future.

Whats the point of ppl at the counter when you asking customers to fill the forms for you. If I go to post office is not to be given form it is part of your job to fill the details from me. Don't waste to your time, definitely would not recommend this post office. Such unhelpful staff. And I don't carry my reading glasses to post office to be able to read your miniscule forms where you need to tell me what to fill. ????

I have just been into the post office based in w h smiths in leicester city centre, i had to help a elderly lady with a shopping trolley down the stairs as she didnt like lifts, she wanted to purchase a padded envelope , she got the one that she wanted and then was told that she couldnt pay for it at the post office she would have to go upstairs to pay for it and then come back down to post it, how stupid is that , if you cant pay for them in the post office then they shouldnt be there , they should be upstairs where you can pay for them .

We went there twice on the weekend, the lady that served us so rude and unfriendly at all. I am upset. Should be more chill and good ( dont have to be great) customer service.

Manjit went above and beyond today when I came in and told her I couldn?t find the tracking number on my post office receipt as I only had a photo of one side of it. She was professional, kind and extremely helpful when I was stressed as I had returned an expensive Christmas present which the company had told me had gone missing. A genuinely lovely and hard working member of staff. Thank you so much Manjit

The customer service system really needs to be changed/improved.
I have tried to call the office to ask a question about a parcel that I need to send, and after 2 whole minutes of waiting for someone to pick up, they hung up on me.
Lazy and useless.

I wanted to thank one worker who was working on 4th Feb at the currency exchange till for making sure I input the correct address!! Without her I would've sent my letter with a wrong address, thank you...

God they are just useless. Old woman watched me que for 10 mins, then tells me she cant process any post at the counter (You what?) and I have to use self service, after I'm done I then have to wait for her to finish serving to collect the parcels from me. What an absurdly stupid system or employee, or both. Both post offices in Leicester town centre are just comically awful.

I went there 0 star. A lady kept moving up and down. Only two counters open. Please stay at your desk. Please don?t move. They have removed 8 staff. One lady staff looked Senior was not interested. Soon you will have no staff. Very rude. She was not pleasant at all. Being fast does not look good. I asked for airmail sticker. She says ok. If you haven?t got it , please say so.
