Very thoroughly the optician PP examined the eyes, explained the situation, referred for further checks and glasses prices, payment plan all reasonable. What more would I ask for. Perfect.

I have been trying to call Beaumont Leys branch for the past 3 days and no-one answers the phone, I need a copy of my son's prescription, I've called at 9am and towards the end of the end thinking it will be quiet, so frustrating!

If I could give no stars I would because they are overrated and bad customer service they have no idea what their doing they talk NHS customer's into purchasing silly stuff instead of advising alternative home remedies for dry eyes. When returning after getting confirmation to return 2 items mentioned 1 box was opened even though I didn't even touch the bag of items since bringing it home and left everything how it was given and then go to store and they refused to refund me when I was told on the phone I could return both items I didn't want because was opened and for hygiene reasons lol tried to justify the matter by relating it to underwear and Bras but didn't mention till returning that it was non refundable due to hygiene. I am now as a NHS customer wondering what in the world to do with the eye masks as I won't use itAgain avoid avoid their not good and I am now returning to my previous opticians who give free glasses

This was the second appointment for my four year old daughter. The first appointment was great, they really took the time to explain what was happening to her, and approached everything about her appointment at her level, using pictures and age-appropriate questions and language.This time, my four year old, pre-reading child, was told to read letters off the chart and made to feel stupid when she couldn?t do it. I know there are pictures available for young children to use, so why weren?t they provided? I?m struggling to understand how any professional could see the point of endlessly asking a little girl to identify letters that she doesn?t understand? How are they getting any useful data about her eyesight from this? Furthermore, what kind of compassionate human would continuously ask a child to struggle at something beyond their developmental capability to the point that they are visibly upset?We won?t be returning.

As a Vision Express customer I attended the Beaumont Leys store yesterday for guidance as I had developed floaters in my right eye over the past couple of days which hadn?t disappeared. I was invited to complete a triage form with the assistant to assess my history and symptoms. My glasses were checked against my recent new prescription and I had the ?puff? pressure test (before and after the examination and drops) and ?hot air ballon? test whilst waiting to see the Optometrist. Drops were placed in my right eye to dilate the pupil and after a short wait, the Optometrist Deepal gave me a thorough examination in both eyes to check my retinas for detachment or tear and any other anomalies. She also tested my eyes for dryness. Thankfully my symptoms proved harmless. I was given aftercare advice and a leaflet and told to return if symptoms worsened or I developed new symptoms. I received excellent care and efficient service from Deepal and the team - many thanks!

Really bad experience in this store today, had an eye test booked for 12.45, got to the shopping centre at half 12 but totally an error on my side I didn?t realise the store was located inside Tesco, which left me getting there at 12.49pm, 4 minutes late, again my own fault, HOWEVER, vision express allows for 10 minutes late before they cancel your appointment, I was 4 minutes late, I had my newborn baby with my, made alternative arrangements for my two year old and drove 27 minutes to make this appointment, the rude receptionist told me ?yeaaahhhh we don?t allow for 5 minutes late?, I would just like to add that there was a really helpful girl in the back that tried her best to get the appointment sorted, but it was just a no, I was told there would be no time for the next patient, I waited 40 minutes around the store while speaking with head office on the phone and nobody else left or entered the store. I?l just stick with my old reliable opticians from now on.

My first visit to this branch, I have given 5* for the attention I received from both Ms Dharsh who helped me choose the best framesand lenses and Ms Deepal who carried out the eye test, they were both Patient, helpful, Kind and professional, as I am deaf and wear hearing aides in both ears.A very satisfied customer who would highly recommend this branch.

This was my first and last visit to vision express at Beaumont leys. The process was not explained to me, I felt like I was being passed from person to person with no explanation of why. The lady did my eye test, my prescription is minimal however I do struggle to see without it being blurry. I was given a new prescription and was told not to wear these whilst driving. Can someone explain how I am meant to read road signs clearly if I cannot wear these when driving. My prescription has changed a lot compared to what boots have said and quite frankly the whole experience was shocking. I have never felt so uncomfortable and will never return.

It was a a very good experience. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. specially to Darshini , Uzma and the optician Sunita. I ended up buying 2 pairs of glasses and had the discount I want in time before it ended.. Helpful and welcoming staff plays a big part to entice customers .

I popped in to check it again last week.. but i found it really quite expensive compared to specsaversmy first appointment I was 7 minutes late due to roadworks traffic... I was turned away to reschedule.. not impressed the way it was handled.. I was a tesco optician customer since it open 3 of us in the family.. now I having my glasses done at specsavers it is a shame but it is there fault
