The food was absolutely superb! The portion is generous and the price is very fair for what you get. All very fresh food- I highly recommend the crispy beef.
The pub itself was decorated beautifully with old style with a modern twist.
The staff (I assume, family run?) were all very nice and friendly, making suggestions as we had never been.
If we are ever in the area again, We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

So lucky to have a local as quality as this one. The welcome is always spot on, incredibly welcoming. The staff are all attentive and efficient, with smiles too. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. Tonight we experienced the live music, which was fantastic. And the food is always reliably delicious and interesting. Every family and friend member we take love it, the latest being my father in law, who loved the whole experience and food so much last night that he insisted we go back again tonight! Really highly recommend.

Came here as an overnight campervan stop (contact them first as parking space is limited) free parking if you come and eat at the restaurant.
As soon as we walked in it was apparent this wasn't a quiet little boozer in the middle of (almost) knowhere. The decor was fresh and welcoming, the place was buzzing and we got a friendly welcome from one of the owners behind the bar. A small selection of Greene King real ales is accompanied by a wider selection of other ciders and beers on tap and a wide selection of other drinks and spirits.
But the real standout here is the food. A wide menu of slightly off the beaten track but amazing tasty dishes and sides, or a range of stone baked pizza. One of those menus where I could happily have eaten anything off the menu. And fantastic desserts too. All food is created in the kitchen, where chef is one of the business partners.
It's obvious this place is run by people with real passion and dedication for what they do, and it's a real credit to them. It's distinctly different from any pub I've been to before and comes highly recommend.

I attended a ruby wedding celebration at this Inn. Everything was perfect. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and well run. The food was delicious with very generous portions of a large variety of foods.
I loved this venue and cannot recommend it highly enough.

It?s important to note that we are parents to a 6 month old who both times has been made incredibly welcome - which is so reassuring as we always panic about being in the way with the pushchair and possible noise but the owners make us feel so welcome!
Where to start? This place is phenomenal. This is our second visit after an accidental find from an article written by the Mallories and neither visit disappointed.
Both times we have visited for the Sunday lunch and without a shadow of a doubt it?s the best that I?ve ever known! The brisket melts in your mouth and the pork is equally as tasty, there?s a vast array of accompaniments on the plate from parsnips, to roasties and a Yorkshire which is not shabby in size! The veg is served to the side offering multiple types to share and add to an already full plate of gorgeous food!
The gravy is to DIE for!
Today I opted for a dessert (as I learned from my last visit and saved room ?) and it was delicious and home made too! Ice cream and sticky toffee pudding - and again, the best I?ve ever had, and I?ve had plenty of sticky toffee pudding but none compare!
All the staff are so attentive and the food is served so quick, it?s incredible service!
Honestly, don?t delay and get yourself there to see what you?re missing!

We had a lovely Sunday roast here on Sunday. The meats were so tender and lots to accompany. My 6 year old also loved it. Would definitely recommend

We went for my mum's 70th. Service was exceptional and food was very tasty. It's something about different and definitely a treat. There was something for everyone. We will be returning soon!

The food here is AMAZING! The Windymiller pizza is possibly one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life! All the other dishes we had were excellent as well. Service was really good and very friendly. Top marks!

Crazy good food. A bit confusing to order, but once you get your head round it, its fine.
The BBQ pork so SO GOOD.
Staff are friendly and place is very clean.
