I really like the food, service and atmosphere at The Verandah Bar. I prefer lager to beer and this place has a selection. The food really reminds me of my mum's home cooked dishes. The style, decor and atmosphere are very nice too. I recommend everything on the menu and already know which curry I'm going to get next time I go. Really delicious.
Update: Just had the prawn curry with rice and chapattis. This is my new fav place for curries.

I went there on Sunday and the food was delicious. I didn?t take all the pictures of the food I had eaten, but here are a few of the photos. I had the potato dosa, and my partner had a curry. I would definitely return.

Amazing food, always delicious. Momos are worth trying, so fresh! I've been back numerous times and the food always delivers. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the staff and owners are lovely.

Absolutely beautiful food and chai. First time here and can honestly say it?s one of the best places I?ve been to in Leicester, very authentic and original. Kabita the server not only waited on the table , she also cooked the food also. What an absolute asset the business has in a member of staff like that . We will be back x

Found this place whilst visiting Leicester uni. Interesting menu of indo/Nepali + western fusion cusine. Yummy sandwiches & momos which were very spicy. Friendly service & lots of other eating options in the neighbourhood. Worth a try!
